This things is a wonder of engineering. It's easy to maintain (but there is work to it) but it does a fantastic job cleaning up after our 7 dogs. Yes, 7 dogs. The Deebot X1 Omni is a full feature automated vac/mop robot. Pros: - It has a powerful suction; I've found that on normal settings its vacuum works well and is quiet. - Mopping is the best I've seen on a robot - It is similar to a Bissel Spin Mop with clean water being put onto two rotating mops. It leaves a beautiful finish on the floor. I use the maximum water flow, and a visible trail of washed floor can be seen as the robot progresses. I have it set to return to clean the pads every 20 minutes. This is a setting the can be increased/decreased. While this does do a great mop, it doesn't replace a weekly clean with the Crosswave as a wet vacuum/mop. The Crosswave has been the best solution I've found for cleaning a floor. - Navigation is Fantastic! I've had Samsung, iRobots, Shark AI, Shark IQ robots and this navigation is fantastic. It does a great job avoiding walls, corners, and obstacles and so far seems to avoid the robot marks that most leave on the baseboards. - APP is really easy and well thought out - The app allows for full customization of everything your robot will do. It took some trial and error to determine the right coverage level, clean once or twice, the right power on the suction, the right mop cleaning interval, etc. This isn't a frustrating process, but it does help you get to better understand the capability of this machine. The app also allows you set up the camera so you can see what the camera sees. This can act as a remote video so you can run around and check things. It's cool, maybe a bit gimmicky, and to some may raise serious concerns of privacy. It's not something you have to turn on, so the choice is yours. It also has voice control, and again a bit gimmicky and not something I use, but some may find that very helpful. - Design is excellent - The docking station is HUGE compared to others, but it looks great, the robot looks great, the water containers are easily accessible. CONS: - Dust bag; After using the Shark bagless bins, having the ability to just empty a bin is much more desirable than using bags. Although Ecovacs says the dustbag should last up to 60 days, in my house I end up using another vac to suck that one out as I'd fill a dustbag every 1-2 weeks. That adds up quickly. - Costs: This is not an inexpensive machine. It performs at a premium level but it does come at a premium cost. I did purchase it on Prime Days for $1299.00 - Not sure I'd spend $2K on this, but it's worth $1300. Bottom line, this is an overall outstanding machine. I'd have one on each floor if they were less money but now that I know how good they are, I'll see what sales come about and look to change out my other ones. You get what you pay for and you get a lot for your investment here.

I went to a friends house and her robot vacuum was working. She told me how great it was. She just retired from tech industry and if it were anybody else I would have dismissed it. We moved into a new home at the beach with our two dogs. We’re constantly bringing sand and other dirt in even though we have a no shoes policy inside our home. I was sick and tired of bringing out the mop and broom. I did some research and even though I didn’t want to spend the money (I bought this when it was $1599) I decided to go for it. When my husband found out that I ordered it, he flipped out. When roomba first came out, 15-20+ years ago, I bought one and we had a hard time setting it up and getting it to work. We have now had it for 7 weeks and we love it! So easy to set-up. The charging station was bigger than I anticipated and heavier—even without the water storage. The first time I used it, the hardest part was figuring out how to use the app. Customer service tried to be helpful but the language barrier was difficult to overcome. My husband and I watched some YouTube videos on it and those helped. On the app, there are ways to use quadrangles and lines to delineate where the robot should go. For me, this was the biggest hurdle to learn in order to max out our robot’s performance. We have large treads for our patio doors and we have a lot of them-about 60 linear feet. At first we watched the robot get stuck trying to vacuum them. Once I placed boundary lines where the treads were, cleaning improved. Other than that, the robot does a quick map of your home, including furniture. It does go around my dogs. When we first got it, we had work going on in some rooms, that we told it not to go into. After work was done, I removed the boundary lines and I didn’t even need to have it remap. It just went in and cleaned those rooms since it detected those rooms were there on its first mapping run. We have had towels, boxes, dog toys, and shoes on the floor when it runs and we haven’t had any issues with those. It hasn’t gotten any of our upholstered furniture wet or dirty and hasn’t dinged up any walls, doors, or furniture. We are still getting boxes and artwork delivered and I was nervous it would run into the art frames but we haven’t had any issues. We have tile and wood floors, museum-style baseboards. I haven’t done a white glove test yet but it seems to get under the baseboards. We usually run it at night before we go to bed and it’s been such a delight to wake up to clean floors. You can also change the suction of the robot. I just cleaned it for the first time and I was dreading it. I was planning on just taking it apart and wait for my husband to just do it for me. I didn’t have to. It was very easy to clean and quick. Probably took me less than 10 minutes. I found a lot of sand in the station and in the robot. It comes with a little brush. I think a tooth brush would work better for cleaning. I used scissors to cut out hair and other stuff that got tangled up in the vacuum and mop brushes. The manual says to clean it more often but it worked for 28 hours before I cleaned it for the first time. It takes about 2 hours to get 1000sq ft done. At first, I added cleaning fluid to the water tank but I found that it doesn’t really need it. Another thing I have bragged about has been the self cleaning feature. It cleans and dries the mop brushes on it’s own. I love it so much, I’m thinking of getting it for my sister who has 4 small kids to help make her life easier. My husband says this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever bought—up there with the Instant pot and air fryer toaster oven.

Es el peor unboxing que jamas haya experimentado. El producto estaba usado cuando debia ser nuevo, pero no cualquier uso. Realmente tenia ya varios meses de uso, raspado, con excremento de perro e insectos. Una experiencia Asquerosa.

I own it a month so far. it vaccum fine, because it has mop, so it actually clean the floor better than most vaccum only robots. But its sad that it cant go up to carpet when its in mop mode. it would be great if it vaccum even if the carpet may get a bit set. i have small kids, so objects always magcialy appear every where. i knew the object avoid funciton wont be magic, just got stuck in shoes lace today.. and still stuck time to time. its always a good idea to do a quick check before it runs. but its good to have such function, i would say 70% it wont stuck, if i forget to move stuffs away. mop works fine, but i found its better to use the highest settings, and expect slightly wet floor. but i dont do 2x, just too time consuming. It runs twice a day, i use it for my small main floor.. maybe 700sqf, would say dirty water need to be change every 5 days. which is great. and the dirty water is not crazy dirty compare to crosswave Max I have. which i found it i may have to clean it after each use. i think because it vaccum already, so food wont be in the dirty water tank. vaccum noise can be adjust, which is like, i just lowest setting since i hate the noise and i have it runs after every one sleep, and after lunch. so far it seems fine. battery life is amazing, idont even think i ever seen it go below 80%, possibly because i use a low setting. i wish the schedule can have fine tune like what mode it will be. and i hope the next model can go on carpet even if its mop mod, maybe detect carpet like the other branch does. Bottom line is, its not bad if you buy it when its on sales. I am happy with it, and hope it will last for 5 years before i jump on the next robots :) # UPDATE you can tell i was happy and impressed. but after 8 months, it stop connecting to the wifi. and you can not email or chat to support, you gotta call. i am busy thats why this machine worth it, but now its giving me more headache and dirty floors. :( I had Neato D5 for 5 years until it have problem. I'm trying to contact support before the 1 year warrenty is gone. Hopefully they will send me a replacement or fix it. but pretty sure it will take time.
