To be honest I was sceptical about it after having had an authentic wood didgeridoo for over 20yrs. I was wrong, it is a magic little box which is so easy to use and sounds great. It has good back pressure allowing for longer playing for beginners who have not learned the black art of circular breathing or balancing pressure to give an almost seamless play. It delivers great sound for such a small footprint and doesn’t carry the super loud drones my deep sounding original didgeridoo performs.

I bought a full size one for my son-I law which he loves and saw this little one for him too so he can take it hiking etc with him and just sit and play. He said the sound is amazing and great for practicing on too

This is a good piece of kit. Obviously, there will be a number of traditional didge players who will naturally scoff at the item, as it's not a 'real' didge, but the noise it creates is so remarkably similar, with depth and tone better than many of the cheaper didges and on a par with a lot of mid range instruments too. The size is unbelievable - whenever there's been an occasion to take a didge somewhere, it's always been more of an effort than it should be due to the size, but this is about as big as a hardback book. Nicely made, nice feeling, nice noise. Meinl really know how to make traditional things for a modern age!

Liked everything about it did not know how to get a, sound out of it but got it in 10 min I live in a bedsit which is small so this more portable one is ideal for storage glad I got this one got a good sound just as good as, a full size one

I was s as bit sceptical about ordering one but looked at YouTube vids of them and decided to go for it as wanted to take one with me out on the road, these are a great sounding and easy to use didge, it just does exactly what I need it to and that’s made me happy

This travel didg is amazing! Got my first one this morning. Had never held a didg before, although I've researched and studied about them for the past few days. When I put this new to my lips and "rasberried" into it, it took on a life of its own. After a couple of hours I had found the sweet spot, and was able to make numerous sounds. Circular breathing is a little hard but it's coming. This solid Mahogony instrument is a steal at this price. After using it for 6 weeks now, I'm totally sold on its performance and variability. The mouth piece is extremely comfortable - without wax - and measures 1 1/4", which allows for deep overtones. It's rated as playing in D but I can easily vary the key down to C and up to E. It has amazing volume for such a small instrument, but would need to mic it for gatherings and for outside use. The wood is smooth as silk, semigloss finish, smooth to the hand and lips, and sooo lightweight. It can also be easily muted by the hand for playing effects. This Didge is a perfect fit for handicapped or chair-bound individuals. If you've been wanting one but were hesitant about this one, I say, by all means, "Get it." You won't be sorry. I just love mine😀😀.

Was für ein geiles Teil. Man wundert sich nur wie aus so nem kleinen Ding so ein riesen Sound rauskommt. Robust gebaut, mit Spuckfänger am Mundstück. Die Vibrationen lassen den eigenen Körper schwingen und erfüllen den Raum. Der Sound geht aber nicht durch Wände sodass ein schlafendes Kind im Nebenraum und die Nachbarn nicht gestört werden.

夜に自宅でもディジュリドゥの練習がしたくて購入しました。 当方イダキも所有しておりますが、比べても木の共鳴感や音の質感はかなり本格的です。 音はそれなりに大きいのですが、ボトム径が極小のため、こもった音になり周りには響いてなさそうです。 とても吹きやすく簡単に綺麗な音が鳴り、トゥーツやコールもクリアに鳴ります。 いつも手元に置いて気が向くままに思いついたリズムパターンを吹いています。 嬉しい悩みですが、あまりに簡単に鳴るので「練習」という意味では諸刃の剣かも知れません。 それにしても、このコンパクトさでこのクオリティは本当に素晴らしいと思います。 ディジュリドゥを吹くのが楽しくてたまらないけど、家で吹くのはご近所が気になる・・・ という方には自信を持ってオススメします。
