James Martin by Wahl ZX879 Easy Store Table Blender, 600 W, 1.5 L [Energy Class A]

Bought this to make breakfast smoothies, and it does a decent job of blitzing fruit (fresh and frozen). You still get some chunks, but on the whole a good result. I really like that the jug fits over the base for easy storage, a real plus in my small kitchen.

Very good product and very easy to store. The multi speeds are excellent for making smoothies. and it is used extensively now with all the cooking to be done in preparation for Christmas. I have no hesitation in recommending this James Martin liquidiser. Great value for money with next day delivery

TLDR: Save yourself and your family a lot of grief and ask the courier to deliver it straight to the bin.I have been purchasing stuff from Amazon for over 10 years and I am embarrassed to say that this is my first review. I have chosen to write this review for two reasons, firstly the product is completely useless, secondly and more importantly, the product is promoted by biased Vine reviews.My review for the product is short and sweet and consists of two points1. Fundamentally the product is useless and is unable to blend anything as the blades are too short, spin at supersonic speeds.2. Once you have attempted to blend anything, the product is impossible to clean.Review over….With this product Amazon crossed the Rubicon on the Vine programme for me, and as such I will disregard any future Vine reviews. If you ever needed an example that “Free” stuff for a “Free” review will produce only biased reviews, this product is it. Not best for trying to make smoothie because rather than the inside sloping down, it is pretty flat, so I have to take pitcher off base and shake it sometimes to get thicker contents moving.

this has to be the worst blender I have ever owned, The lid fits so tightly that it is impossible to remove without splashing liquid everywhere. It is awkward to dock and undock from the stand. When liquidising chicken livers with melted butter and cream I eventually had to take them out of the bowl and use a hand blender.

I've had this blender for a couple of weeks now and it's been ok but has just failed on me.It's compact and easy to store which is the main reason for choosing this model, but the lid is a pain to remove and really needs an extrusion or handle to help.However the main flaw seems to be the jug. It's plastic and rather than being created as a single injection moulded piece its built in two halves. This seem has now failed after ~6 uses so I have a blender which leaks faster than it blends.

Great blender, has a locking lid system so cant be used if lid not secure. Blends everything including ice. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product. Does everything it says and takes up minimum storage space. I love it.
