Amazing book!
What can I say other than that this is a brilliant book!It caters for most dietary requirements. I’m trying to be whole food, plant based and gluten free and have already tried a few of the recipes from the vegan plan. They did not disappoint!! Even the odd sounding Fennel, Leek and Pear soup - which I would never have chosen in a million years but I had a fennel bulb going to waste from a veg box order. It was lush!!Does the ‘diet’ work on inflammation??Well, I have Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility Syndrome and Osteoarthritis. I went from not being able to get out of bed for long because of the immense pain, at the beginning of the week, to getting in my 10k steps walking round the town on Friday with MUCH less pain!!I’d recommend it to anyone with pain or even those who don’t because the recipes are delicious and use readily available ingredients.

Yes you can trust this book for realy Paleo
Hi alow me to advise you to read all my review if you want to buy this book. I want to help you because others have done the same to me.My name is Tomxico 56 years old and I am a teacher at the beautiful traditional Nazaré beach in Portugal. You should visit by the way.My health problems are IBS, leacky gut, disbioses and other inflamatory disorders related, like knees joint pain, food allergies, sinus and enlargedprostate (60 gr). By now all in moderate terms I think.I have tryed some classic medications and visit many docters. The result is ...nothing. Only probiotics get me feel a litle relief. It's a shame as traditional classic medicine just don't care about this problem. I feel I am all by myself. Each physician just cares about hisdomain and try to treat symptoms not the root cause. To me, everything is related with ... the gut.About this book it's a very good book. Very well writen, very informative, very usefull. the problem with the cerips is always the same: hard to find organic products and you must have time to stay in the kitchen. If you suffer from the problems I reported above you can find some good recips in this book. You won't go wrong. Buy it.

Good for general principles
I bought this over a year ago, and have been more or less following the key principles since. One year on and yes I think the advice makes a positive difference and I'll continue with it. The book is helpful for general principles, although I would've liked a bit more of the science behind inflammation. I skipped over the four optional action plans in the book (paleo, vegan, mediteranean and time-saving). If you want to focus on any of those specifically, then I think it'd be better to buy a specialist cookbook. The recipes in the book are good, although there's quite a few meat-based ones, and also not many colour photos. And I always find it disappointing when books which aim to promote healthier diets include a section on sweet desserts, surely it'd be better to promote the mindset of fruit as the only dessert choice. Despite those reservations it's easily four stars.

easy to understand and
This book is informative, easy to understand and, even though there are not that many images, you will never be doubtful on how the finished dish should look like. I recommend this book for people with autoimmune disorders as well as for people who wants to improve their overall eating habits. This book will explain what is good and what is not so welcome in your everyday diet.

Mad ingredients
Tried some of the smoothie recipes and a dinner and lunch, the recipes are good and tasty...but there's only a handful I can actually make as some of the ingredients are insane and I've never heard of them, and when I look them up they are really expensive (eg Coconut aminos!?) . Practical substitute suggestions for those of us who don't have access to fresh produce markets and variety packed supermarkets would be helpful.
