One of the best logo design books
I was always fascinated by Allan's unique style and work. It's always simple and clean but also tells a story and is visually interesting.The same goes for this book. It's packed with invaluable lessons and great examples. The design, the content and even the printing are top quality.I cannot recommend this book enough for anyone who wants to up their game, learn and be inspired by The GOAT of Logo design.

Absolute treasure chest!
An incredible book that's action packed with information. Well laid out with detailed references in detail and the design process.A must book for anyone that is interested in graphic/ logo designI highly recommend ! love it!!!

just wow!
What a fantastic resource if you are trying to get into logo/brand design or get better at it. The book itself is written in an easy to digest language, goes straight to the point providing so much valuable tips and tricks. It also works as a great inspiration piece. 10/10 I highly recommend!

So good I read it twice in two days 👍🏻
I have been following Allan’s work for a while so eagerly pre-ordered this book when I heard it was being released. The cover itself is a piece of art but inside is a comprehensive peek behind the curtain of Peter’s Design Co. In a time where the design community is being bombarded with noise about trends and the ‘next big style’, Allan’s book reminds us that logos should stand the test of time. His simplistic yet powerful and engaging style has inspired me to rethink how I operate my own design studio - thanks Allan 👍🏻

Some good nuggets of info in here
I read this cover to cover in 2 evenings, and even as a designer of 20 years, I came away with some good nuggets of information I can use in future. I did appreciate the personal tone (very similar to Draplins book) which made for easy reading.There isn’t a great deal of variation in styles here, so for straight up inspiration there isn’t much value here - but there is value in understanding the logic and idea behind the creation of each, which could be applied to any style.As another reviewer mentioned though, some of the political and religious commentary was off putting and probably better suited to a memoir.

A great way to sharpen up your branding process
Really enjoyed reading this book. The pagination of left hand page graphical and right hand page text turns an in depth logo mark and branding model into an easy to digest process that can easily add value to anyone’s workflow.There’s a simple honesty and modesty to Alan’s writing and approach that makes top level branding feel achievable whatever your current level of design skill.
