Great customer service, time will tell.
Ordered these for an HP Photosmart C4580 which is spec'd for the 74 and 75 cartridges. Worked great for about 6 weeks with a couple of small print jobs then suddenly the printer now refuses to recognize them as other reviews have noted. I guess you get what you pay for.Edit 08/04/2013: Was contacted by Sophia customer service expressing their concern for my poor experience. They offered to ship out replacement cartridges at no cost or trouble to me, and did so rather rapidly. They claim that my original cartridges were faulty, which I hope to be the case as the replacements installed and are currently working great. Time will tell if they stay that way, but definitely great support from the company! Note initial rating was 1/5 star due to unreasonably short service life, amended to 4/5 stars because the customer support was self-motivated and effective and the replacement product solved the problem for now. I will try to update this after a while and let you know if the replacements have held up.

Great cartridge--EXCELLENT customer support!
UPDATE (original below)After a few days of use, the second cartridge was rejected by the printer, too. <sigh>I fiddled with it some but, in the end, I gave up on these cartridges. It just wasn't worth the hassle.About a month later, a very nice young lady from Sophia called, to follow-up with me on the replacement cartridge! Who does that anymore? She offered to send me yet another one (still at no cost to me). I accepted.Third time's the charm. This cartridge has worked for about two weeks now, with no trouble at all.Great price, and the best customer service I've had in years.AWESOME JOB, SOPHIA!=== ORIGINAL =====The re-manufactured cartridge arrived sooner than I expected (by a day), fulfilled by Amazon. My printer (HP OfficeJet J6450) rejected the cartridge, though. Not a surprise, as HP is finicky about whose cartridge you use.I called Sophia and got a REAL, LIVE PERSON right out of the gate--what a pleasure! She was very courteous and helpful. She sent a replacement immediately, which worked great! The printer shows that it can't read the cartridge for ink levels but it's working fine and printouts look crisp. At half the price of the HP-branded cartridge (Prime eligible, as this was), I like it.I'm about to order additional cartridges from them now.Awesome work!

So far so good!
I am usually a name brand shopper but for half the price I decided to try this cartridge out. So far it is great! It appeared to be the same size as the HP 74 cartridge that I removed and the remanufactured cartridge loaded with ease. My printer recognized that it was a remanufactured cartridge and printed a page and then asked me to place that page on the scanner. The printer scanned the page (did it's thing) and said it was good to go. I am not a tech person so pardon the lack of proper terminology. It was easy and works great. I will have to see how long it lasts but so far the print is perfect. I will be recommending this product to family and friends. With the $7.00 you save you can afford 2 gallons of gas, 5 red box movies, or a 6 pack of Shiner Cheer. Happy Holidays!

Working as expected so far
My printer had a little bit of a hard time adjusting to the refurbished cartridges, just as Sophia Global had predicted, but in the end took them. It went through series of calibrations that took a little while. So far, I have no problems with or complaints about the cartridges, hopefully they would last as long as the new ones. Sophia Global says they are completely full although the printer says they are not. I hesitated to put a higher rating because I have never used this item before and am still unsure of it. When it is time for me to put in the second set of cartridges (there are 4 in the package - 2 black and 2 color), I would be more confident with my rating.

So-so
I bought this item because HP ink prices are ridiculous. HP really tries to bleed its customers dry by having printers print out "alignment pages" or "test pages" every time a printer is turned on or for whatever else reason so that inks get depleted extremely quickly. This replacement ink fits my needs, but the black ink does not come out that crisp. I use my printer at home to print assignments here and there for school, because print quality doesn't need to be high in that case. If you need high quality, crisp printing, I'd recommend searching for something else (but don't buy HP's inks).

Got the Job Done
Though I have tried using a refill kit, this was my first time buying a non-HP cartridge replacement. I chose the Sophia Global replacement because it was so cheap and eligible for Prime shipping. I'd needed the ink quickly so that I could print out some papers for school. When I made my purchase, I was worried that my printer would not recognize it. However, the cartridge was a perfect fit in my printer and I was able to start printing without any problems. If I'm ever again pressed for time in my ink purchase, I would definitely buy this cartridge again.

Ruined my printer
Our HP printer worked great for years, but with three college students, we decided to try these out to save money. First few pages worked great until we got an error with our printer saying we needed to reset the ink cartridge. Reset printer and reset cartridge but no luck. Resinstalled and updated printer drivers, nothing. Then tried reinstalling the second black cartridge and still didn't work. Did several different resets with still no freaking luck. Finally went back to OEM brand and surprise, no luck! Is it possible that our printer coincidentally "broke" almost right after the installation and use of these? Maybe. Is it likely? No. As far as I'm concerned these ruined our printer and the experience ended up being the equivalent of changing your own oil to save money, only to be given the wrong oil filter. It ended up not only costing us several times what a new ink cartridge would cost but we were left with three practically full sophia's, a new OEM and a useless printer, so use at you're own risk! I wish I could give negative stars, but a negative review is ok I suppose. By the way, I'm not new to computing, nor do I don't work for Hewlett Packard, I'm just warning others.
