My nephew just had a Fireman Birthday Theme. He has the uniform, hat, & tools but he was lacking the hose to put out his imaginary fires in the yard. He was ecstatic when he saw the backpack watergun blaster extinguisher! Was easy to put on, filled with water & easy for him to pump! He loves it! He plays for hours putting out his fires, the plus side is that my plants get watered!

I was a little worried but so far all of the kids ages 2-7 yo can use them. They carry quite a bit of water, heavy when full but all the kids have had no trouble carrying it around and spraying them. They've only been used a couple of times as it's early in the season but seem to be holding up well and working good. I'd definitely buy again or as a gift. I think they are much better than a hand held gun that would be to heavy and awkward for the younger kids, but this is great and even the 2 yo can operate it!

I like the concept but am a little disappointed in the actual product. May be better for a 5 yr old? I have a 3 yr old of average size & the shoulder straps sit too wide thus fall to his elbows constantly & the strap adjusters are useless as the straps are a slippery nylon. I didn't realize it was pump-action & it is incredibly stiff; he struggles to work it & his natural reaction is to raise it up high which then, as it's gravity-fed, causes the water to quit coming out. The cosmetics are nice as he wanted an air tank & questioned why water would come out of it but being 3 tanks I told him it's an air-&- water combo... He enjoys it & hopefully as he grows some issues will lessen or go away but he's so firefighter obsessed right now that I wish this had been designed just a bit better.

Holds a lot of water. It is cheaply made so you cannot screw the caps in too tight or they will pop off. The canister gets pretty heavy when full so I have to carry the canister for my 4 year old. He loves it and the water fun does last longer with a big canister. Even though my son is pretty good about taking care of toys I see this thing breaking within a month of good use.

My little guy LOVES this. He loves being able to wear it and run around to "put out fires". It was a very good find for us, I think as long as you play gently with it and not jumping on it etc it's a decent value for the money. I would recommend this.

This item fails on several levels. First it has a hole in the bottom so it leaks water everywhere and there is no pressure so will not shoot water. Two. If you cover the hole it now has pressure, but tank collapses. Three. It holds a lot of water, but it is also heavy.

Bought as a gift for 3 year old grandson. He loved it and could use it right away. Got another one for his 5 year old brother for his birthday too. Very well made and the whole family gets in on the fun. Highly recommended.

Handle on top was broken (not fixable) but did not affect functionality. Both the cap on top and the cap to hose leak. Still fun to play with!
