Good blackout quality
I was pleasantly surprised how well this tent works.Blackout: the inside (except for the top ventilation panels) is made of blackout fabric, and most of the outer rain fly (except for two side panels) is blackout fabric. Unfortunately it's quite difficult to get the absolutely perfect lineup of these two parts for full blackout. There are also some pinprick holes in the fly that let light in. It's not like being in a cave, but it is significantly better than a non-blackout tent, and I can manage the subtle light with an eye mask. It also keeps it a lot cooler than a regular tent - I don't think I woke up sweating at all this summer.Size - I have the 3-person, and it sleeps 3 on thermarests with small bags, two on thermarests with large bags, or one double air mattress. I'm 5'2" and I could stand bent over, or sit in my camping chair with no trouble.Set-up: Easy to set up with two people, fine to set up with one if you're experienced. One thing I dislike is that after you have the inner layer and poles up, you have to tie the layer onto the poles - this would be better with a hook. Frustrating to set up in the rain as it's internal-first, then rain fly so by the time you get to the rain fly the inside is wet.Layout - The little porch is just big enough to have some room to put shoes on, or to do some sheltered cooking in light wind.Weight - It's too heavy for backpacking, but great for festivals or car camping.Zipper - I'm not sure of the zipper's durability. It got stuck once this summer, and I finally managed to escape by lubing it up with chapstick. I feel like with the amount I use it, I'll have to replace the zippers fairly soon.Bag - It comes in a zippered bag with web handles. If you're not good at packing up tents, it'll just about fit. If you're great at packing up tents, it'll fit with loads of extra room - enough to fit some other gear!Best part: the improvement in sleep I get with the blackout material, good layout, fits in bag no problemWorst part: zipper, set-up.

Brilliant tent, would highly recomend
I brought this tent as a easy tent to put up on quwick little camping trips with my partner and I was really sprised how good this tent is, it keeps water out really well and it is really sturdy in strong wind , the first time i used this was in Wales and there was a storm over night and throughout the night I kept supper dry and warm , also the black out works super well, in the morning it looks like it is 9 at night , it keeps the tent supper darck in the morning so u will definitely not be distrirbed by the morning sun , this tent is also good size to fit 3 single air beds in with a small gap between them and the way I sleep in it is with a king size air bed for me and my partner and with a king in it u sill have plenty of room for Ur bags, but if u are in role mats u can get 4 people in it if you put Ur stuff in the porch , taking about the porch it is a perfect size to keep shoes in and to sit in to put shoes on , u can have 2 pople sit in the front porch and put there shoes on easily. This tent also packs dowm really will and is easy to fold up and the bag is not one of them silly small bags , also when putting the tent up it is supper easy for one person to do by there self as u don't have to thred the poles thrown as it had clip on pols with the 2 layer design. Over all I am really pleased with this tent definitely the best tent I have purchased and amazing for the price I would highly recommend.

Good tent..one thing I don't like
Took this out on its first outing, and it rained and rained(very heavily!), but the inside of the sleeping area of the tent stayed bone dry, although the zip up door at the foot of the sleeping end did feel wet, but I assume this was condensation rather than rain coming in from somewhere. The porch area was quite badly affected by condensation, and when I took the tent down the inside of the flysheet was wet, but like I say, it hadn't penetrated the inner tent.Pitching is relatively easy, although I did have to go back and unpeg because I'd forgotten to attach the outer to the inner with the velcro tabs! I bought this for the blackout bedroom, and did it make a difference? Yes, absolutely. It doesn't block out all light obviously, but it certainly helps with sleeping. I bought this to use when I'm going to a campsite that isn't far away from public transport, as it is a bit heavier than the usual backpacking tent, I nearly went for the Kobuk Valley 2,but I'm glad I didn't, as for me the 3 man version was a comfortable fit for me and my rucksack! I'm only 5' 9" tall, but I don't think anyone much taller would feel unrestricted in movement, and their head would be touching the back wall in order to fit in. Due to suffering a theft from a porch area previously, I don't like to use it as a storage area, but it is a decent size, although due to the groundsheet it means you can't cook in the porch, unless you want to unclip it and roll it back. I had to pack it away wet, and ended up putting the nearly dry inner in the tent bag, and the fly into a bin bag until I got home, I saw no way of getting the whole wet tent into the provided bag, and this is the one thing I really don't like. The bag provided is a really tight fit, it'd be much better with a drawstring stuff sack, as I can see me getting frustrated trying to force the tent in the bag, and catching the fabric on the zip. Despite this, it's a good tent, but I'd buy an all in one pitch tent with a blackout bedroom like a shot.

Great tent.
We had a 4man of this model for 5yrs. Used 3/4 times a Yr. So it was obvious we were going to get another. 3man just a bit smaller than 4man but still has space for 2 adults and all our bike gear. Porch is a good size ,ideal for wet gear and shoes.Easy to put up 5/10min , and easy to take down. We ride scooters, it is lightweight and easy to secure in place. Bedroom area is blackout so great to keep out the light in early mornings.

Fantastic
Great tent. Survives heavy rain and wind. A sturdy little champion. Slept in one for a month. A great night's sleep every time. Cozy and insulated. Easy to put up and take down even for a total city dweller.
