Rechargeable Shaver Battery Pack AA 1.2V 2000mAh Fits Braun, Norelco, Remington Shaver Models and Others (deatil Compatible Models Please Search The Below Description)

I have an older Braun 5416 shaver which gave me very good shaves, unfortunately it basically stopped working because the original battery would not hold a charge even when plugged in, making the shaver almost useless. With this battery and some instructions from a YouTube video, I as able to replace the original battery - side note, it is NOT an easy swap - and breathed new life into a shaver that I thought would never be used again. Some users have claimed that this does not hold a charge well, but I find that it does hold a charge well.

Took the old one out, soldered the new one, and it gives 9 shaves on my first charge. Easy install, perfect fit, great charge.

The product fit my Norelco shaver just fine except for the tabs. Had to snip the tabs a little thinner. I was able to solder it in without issue. Luckily, it took a charge. My first run lasted about 20 seconds. Since then, I have been able to make it last for about 1 minute at full charge... roughly 30 seconds before it slows down noticeably. This is why I don't believe it is 2000 mAH, at least mine is not. There are no directions included to tell you how to condition the battery, so I'm fully charging and discharging each time. Luckily, my shaver works while plugged in too. I now have a corded shaver that works for a few moments unplugged. It is too late to return it, especially since I modified the tabs. Good luck if you buy one. UPDATE: Within a few weeks of my earlier review, the battery charge reduced to about 10 seconds on a full charge. It still works when plugged in.

It doesn't seem to hold charge. Don't know if there could be something wrong with charging circuit. So kind of undecided on whether problem lies with battery or something else, so I gave it middle of the road 3 star. Tabs worked well for soldering to circuit board.

Replaced dead battery in my old Philips Norelco 7310XL. Runs like new again. Requires soldering iron and skills to remove old battery and install this new one. Fit perfect. Holds charge just fine and runs great so far. Even the shaver ' Charging ' light still works

The battery seems to work, but the two leads (connections) are so thin and weak. Much MUCH cheaper than the battery it replaced from Philips Norelco. Almost broke when installing (it's like tin foil). I would have paid an extra $1us for the connections to be thicker and stronger so they don't break easily (like what came with the razor 10+ years ago). If the connections break over time, I'll come back and edit this review to 1 star. For now, 2 stars if it survives. The Chinese need to learn we are willing to pay a little extra for better quality, not the cheap Chinese crap being made today. Build stuff to last 10+ years, not to break in 30 days! Stop being wasteful.
