Works like a Twinstar S series but less expensive.Unlike Twinstar S series this one has 7 levels of intensity. I like Twinstar having more red LEDs and runs cooler. This one is quite hot at maximum intensity.

Puts out decent light. I don't have a par meter but this grows everything I can throw at it under my 5 gallon ADA tank.

So far this light has exceeded expectations. The only true drawback is the mounting system. I have to keep a screwdriver nearby when I do water changes or tank maintenance because you have to unscrew 4 screws in order to loosen up the light mounts. The included plastic one is trash. I like that you can adjust the power of the light. I have it set at the 2nd brightest setting because I get too much algae at the brightest setting.
