Quality, Plug-and-Play Portable Monitor
Monitor comes with a great assortment of cables and adapters for use with almost any PC - mini HDMI to HDMI, USB-C to USB-C data cable, a power brick and USB-C power cable for use with devices that can't power the screen directly. The monitor even has a micro-USB port and comes with a micro-USB to USB-A adapter for expanding the ports on your PC and using flash drives, headsets, etc. I use the USB-C to USB-C data cable and just let the port on my laptop power the screen. In this mode you need to enable "Active Contrast" on the monitor settings for it to have full brightness - see attached image. I have a Dell Precision laptop and didn't have to download drivers or do anything special - totally plug and play. Also works perfectly with an M2 Macbook Air. The case attaches magnetically to the back of the display and is pretty easy to use and has good grip on a table or desk. It's slim enough to slide into a backpack with your laptop and durable enough to travel with. For the price you really can't beat it for work/school.

An excellent portable display
It comes with power delivery charger head, type-C power cable 1.5m, type-C data cable 1m, HDMI to mini HDMI cable, micro-USB cable, leather case/stand. The leather case/stand (I think it is plastic lol) has magnetic on both sides, so it can be very easy to remove completed. The screen has anti-glare coating. There are 3 small (OSD) buttons on the left-hand side, just like regular monitor. They are for screen bright/contract/... adjustments. And 1 power button below OSD buttons. It has preset game/PC/... modes. PC mode display crystal clear fonts. Gaming mode display vivid colors but fonts will become a little bit fuzzy on font edges. With the power cable plug in, it can be very bright, and the power will deliver (via data cable) to mac book air too. w/o power cable to both Mac book air and Acer display, the brightness can be very limited. I think Mac Book Air doesn't provide enough power to Acer display when mac book air is in battery mode.

Really nice if you use it right
It loses a star because the stand isn't very useful unless it's down below on a table. Maybe I'm weird, but I need this to be up at eye-level, and I need to make a custom stand.

I was wrong buying this monitor
After a year of using it, this is what happens to my screen. Many annoying, dimmed blue regions appear when using a black background. Before that, it was a great monitor. But if you consider using this for many years, it is a horrible choice.

Best Value for Money!
This Acer portabl monitor is great! It's a real productivity booster for just around $100. It's totally worth the money. I believe some of the reviews here are about older versions of this monitor so look for the most recent reviews when deciding to purchase it. The newest version of this monitor (I bought it in August 2023) is fantastic. There are unfortunately not many options out there when it comes to portable monitors. I have done a lot of research on them and I bought (and returned) two portable monitors before buying this Acer monitor. I first purchased a cheap no brand portable monitor for $80 that broke in just 2 days - the power and menu buttom stopped working and the image started flickering. Then I went for the Lenovo m15 which is a good product, it feels more premium than the competition but it's also much more expensive (over $200). The problem with the Lenovo is that it has only USB-C ports and no power connection. There's no HDMI option or a dedicated power supply. I finally decided to purchase this Acer monitor which sits right inbetween the two. I'm very happy with it. No flickering, very good picture quality and plenty of connectivity. This monitor has 4 ports and it comes with all cables you need including an HDMI to HDMI-mini cable, a USB-C cable and a power adapter. I really recommend it!

Great portable monitor for design work!
I had been using a larger Acer desktop monitor for years, and always liked the way it performed (nice color options, fluid experience when coding and doing design work), and never had any problems with it. I'm happy to report that so far this monitor is on par with the desktop version! I'll update the review if anything changes, but so far it's everything I was looking for in a portable monitor that I'll be using for design work on the road! (Side note: I bought this monitor after a cheaper brand of portable monitor broke after 2 days of use. I should have just spent the extra money and got this from the start. That other monitor couldn't even display motion graphics smoothly without horizontal stutters/tearing, but this monitor works perfectly.)

I got a repackaged device
EDIT: I'm upgrading my rating after using this for two weeks. When using the power cord, the monitor works fine. I hoped it would draw enough power from the USB-C connection to fully function, but it only works in low power mode, which is the experience I described originally. It is light, and just small enough to fit in my bag, but big enough to display everything. It would be nice if it was 4K, or at least supported resolutions above 1080, but for the price, it works. <end edit> The seal on the box was broken when I got it, telling me it must have been a return that was resold. The picture is dark and no amount of adjustment could get it any brighter. In fact, adjusting the brightness in anyway had no effect on the image. Also, the HDMI port would not be recognized by my laptop. It would try, but then blink out. The USB-C port worked fine, however. This is not acceptable to me. If this is because it was a return that was reshipped, then I would be willing to try a new, in the box monitor and revisit this review. If it is how this monitor behaves, then I will be trying a different one.

A great little monitor and a great value
Most of the the portable monitors offered by the "big names" seem to be USB-C only, and lacking HDMI support. This is a problem for those of us using these with hobbyist devices like the Raspberry PI instead of a traditional laptop. I own two of these monitors now. While I haven't done any photo work on them, for the usual office productivity or software development apps, the screen is more than adequate. At $109, this thing is a steal. I made the mistake earlier of buying a no-name on a $100 promotion, and was not too surprised it arrived with a noticeable pixel defect. Both of my Acers have flawless displays, and the build quality is excellent -- none of the cheap feel of some similar products aimed at the hobbyist/maker market. The controls could be easier to use, but for most uses they will be set-and-forget. I also own a Viewsonic VG1655, which has very easy to use controls and a solid integrated stand, but costs nearly twice as much. I'd say the weakest part of the Acer is the faux-leather folio as a stand, but that is shared by most of the competition as well. I'd appreciate an integrated kickstand.
