NOW Supplements, Kelp 150 mcg of Natural Iodine, Easier to Swallow Tablet, Super Green, 200 Tablets

I need to supplement iodine because I eat a Whole Foods plant-based diet with no salt added, therefore no iodized salt, and no iodine. I choose these kelp tablets because they are a clean product and a great price. Plus they are the perfect amount of iodine for someone with no thyroid issues. I just got my annual lab results and everything came back perfect, including my thyroid. So these tablets appear to be working. I do chew them because I’m old and older people’s gastric acid tends to be low with poor digestion. They are hard but not too hard and taste rather pleasant to me. Of course these tablets aren’t responsible for my great lab results for cholesterol, etc. For that I give credit to Dr. Michael Gregor and his book “How Not to Die.” Thank you NOW Foods and Dr. Gregor. I used to be a mess. I save a ton of money by not having to buy prescription medications or go to doctors much.

I have a pineal cyst calcified from fluoride/chloride/bromide. I’ve been in a protocol for a year balancing my body to get rid of this cyst causing issues. and only in past month I can finally target it. This iodine is strong if you have a cyst. It displaces those 3 things, thus releasing into your body. And man, you sure have to go slow on these, or your body will be wrecked. But after slowly starting, I can feel more clarity. It would be interesting to see in 6-8 months whether it helped reduce the size of the cyst. I’m positive it has already

I'm a fan of getting nutrients from whole food if possible, but I don't eat much seafood and rarely add iodized salt to things so I take these to make sure I'm getting a reasonable amount of iodine. I always get a bit nervous about overdoing it so I appreciate this is a relatively low dose, and it definitely has a subtle but distinct 'oceanic' flavor. Small capsules, easy to swallow, it's a winner in my book!
