Quality product. First use was in a recipe for a slow cooker pot roast. It turned out quite well. I am pleased with the product.

My daughter, granddaughter, and I love these. And only this brand will do. They're crisp, tangy, and wonderful in salads, sandwiches, and as a snack. They're hard to find now in my local groceries, so this was a great find for us. Economical too.

Disclaimer: I am a huge fan of Mezzetta products. The pasta sauce is the best, and peppers and olives can't be beat either. I tried Jeff's Garden Pickled Red Onions and liked them on Mexican food (instead of escabeche), although a little sweet. I ordered to see if Mezetta's main brand was less sweet. Mezetta and Jeff's RED ONIONS are very similar flavor, but sweet is growing on me. The pickling spices are spot on for pickled vegetables, especially the coriander seed. Definitely will buy again and again. The WHITE ONIONS taste very similar to classic cocktail onions, like the ones you put into Martinis. Just a little spicier. I was not expecting this, so probably will not be ordering the white onions again due to personal preference. I make pickled white onions like they make their red onions (but with less sugar), so will stick to those. Go red, unless you want sliced cocktail onions.

I got my order way too late and one bottle had leaked. I’ve ordered before and had no issues but this was bad.

You should know that the cap of one of the six bottles was but tight askew, which allowed all of the liquid out. This damaged the box, but I transferred a small amount of liquid from each of the other five bottles, which saved the product. Otherwise, my favorite cocktail addition...
