Nuit d'Issey Parfum - Leathery, woody, intense fragrance for men with grapefruit, leather accord and tonka bean absolue - Inspired by nature

Its a slightly different smell but normal quality...

First time I came across this was at Selfridge's in London back in 2014. At first, once the sales advisor put some on my wrist I was not that impressed, however, an hour or so later I just happened to catch a whiff and wow! Such a great smell, I have not even tried looking for another brand of aftershave because I know that I'm going to be using this one for many years to come! Amazing product! (P.s. Didn't buy this at Selfridge's, found it on here and elsewhere much cheaper)

Strong but not overpowering smell.

I didn't look at the review section until after I'd ordered the aftershave ( didn't think I'd need to after having bought Miyaki several times before ), so when I looked I was surprised at the amount of people that had given it a thumbs down. When it arrived, I tested it straight away...amazing fragrance, and a great musky tone too. Top notch.

Write up a bit misleading as it is entitled eau de parfum but actually eau de toilette - it does say that in the listing but I didn’t read it all and assumed the title was accurate. Product is fine and the teenage boy I bought it for won’t know the difference anyway but I was left with a bit of a ‘bait and switch’ feeling!

Bought this as a birthday present for my husband, he hasn’t had this fragrance before but he really liked the smell, normally I would smell a fragrance In store before buying, because of lockdown I took a chance and chose the fragrance based on the description online and wasn’t disappointed. Very quick delivery, arrived two days earlier than delivery date on order confirmation.
