I bought this for my one year old and it provided him with lots of entertainment. He loved the open and close aspects of the doors and the magnet animals that can be taken out and moved about. After a few months the hinges of the doors came loose but it was easily fixed.

Good board, but I was expected that those figures are puzzles, but it’s just magnet board. But anyway my daughter like to play sometimes with it.

I bought this for my son who loves lift the flap books as this is a similar concept. He is 18 months old which I do believe is below the recommended age but he is past the teething/eating everything stage and I was confident he could play with this (carefully supervised of course). He certainly becomes engrossed in opening and closing the doors and moving the pieces around, and it's a good way to introduce farmyard animal names. The only downside is that some of the images are scuffing off so I'm not sure about how they will hold up with heavy use but this is a minor issue. Overall this is a great item for educational play and is another lovely unique product from Melissa & Doug.

My 16 month old loves it. Let her play with it whilst she is fully supervised. She loves opening the flaps and taking the animal out and then putting it back and closing flaps. She can spend a good 15-20mins on this. Overall its great quality and sturdy. My only negative would be the aninal magnets, they are wooden with just a paper sticker on top. My daughter chewed on one and I stopped her immediately but part of the animal had aready faded. Otherwise its perfect and would recommend.

Very happy with this toy. Bought for my 17 month old as he was learning the word "door" and he's been made up with opening and closing the doors on the board. The animals are magnetic so they don't all fall out when the board is tipped upside down.

We’ve had this for 6months now.He was 18months when we first got it and just liked opening and closing the flaps.Now almost 2 and we are still very interested in knocking on the doors, naming all the animals, playing hide and seek with the animals and throwing it around the flat.It’s very durable and keeps him entertained.

Great for little fingers. And for littles ones that don't understand to be careful!My little girl loves to open and close the doors and find the peices under the door. Not sure how long we will have a while set before a price goes missing. But it's keeping her busy which is great!
