The best.
Bought this as a gift for my husband who was playing guitar when I met him but has only had a relatively inexpensive acoustic all these years. We should have prioritized purchasing this a long time ago because the difference in the quality of the sound is black and white. This guitar makes ever note sound clear and true. His capable playing now sounds like it was meant to sound. Needless to say ,it was the best gift ever.

Martin D-28
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. Said it’s the best guitar he’s ever had.

THE signature Martin sound in all it's fullness.
Taylors sound great, Gibsons, Takime, Yamaha etc... There are many great sounding guitars; I love Gibson too. The top 5 most coveted guitars are all Gibsons, all electric. I'm not comparing this to any other guitar. Not a Fender Strat, or a Gibson acoustic. Gibson's have their own beautiful sound. I could write a couple paragraphs on the differences but both the Gibson and a Martin are vastly different and so unique. But both sound fantastic. It is not cheap ro build instruments right. The Taylor 416ce-R Indian Rosewood is a good comparison but again They both have their own unique sound. If I could only own one guitar for the rest of my life, I'd choose a Martin.
