I suffer from severe Tinnitus and Hyperacusis so need to wear these around the home sometimes and when in a noisy situation. Probably will have to start wearing them driving too, and I my earplugs no longer seem to protect me. They are well made and seem to cut a lot of the noise out. Very comfortable, can almost forget I am wearing them.Minus one star because these had clearly been opened and used, were slight marks on the on the plastic case of the ear muffs and were packed in a cardboard box with no plastic sealing inside or outside, so check product. The marks were not significant enough to make me want to send them back. The ear defenders themselves are 5/5 and I highly recommend them.

Smart, lightweight, comfortable, effective. I find I can wear theses earmuffs with spectacles (or simple goggles) because the sealing rings of the earmuffs adjust so well to the temples of the spectacles.

I bought these after moving into a new house-share. Other people in the house were very loud and had no respect, watching TV very loud at all times of the day even after asking politely many times. At that point I had few options. I could just keep getting angry and end up very stressed and confrontational, or I could find a solution on my end. So I bought these ear defenders and nobody ended up hurt.My review may not be very helpful, since I do not use them in an industrial setting, or music venues or other professional settings, but if you just want to know if these will create a bubble around you and help you ignore the awful world around you, these are for you.They are not as comfortable as wearing headphones, and they definitely look ridiculously big, so I'm too conscious to wear them in public, but I can wear them for hours without getting excessively tired.

In recent times I have suffered badly with ear pain while flying in aircraft. This is especially so when the aircraft is coming down to land. I assumed that the problem was caused by air pressure so I used the ear defenders when the aircraft started it's decent. They worked reasonably on the outward flight but worked extremely well on the return flight with no pain experienced.

I thought they'd be enormous and uncomfortable based on the pictures.- These things are deceptively small. I'm 6'4" and these things are BARELY bigger than my ear.- They have a lot of space inside the ear cup. Unlike the Optime III, I can wear even my largest earphones inside these.- They block out tons of noise. I know, crazy right?small negatives;- The clamping force is a little high. I wear them for 8 hours at a time and it's nothing painful, but it does feel like you're being squeezed a little.- The gap in the top headband loves to scoop my hair up if the ear defenders shift on my head. The ear defenders are locked in tight, but if they do move then you have to take them off and put them on again if you have long hair.
