Esschert Design WA38 Bee House with Line Drawing, Brown

Gave it to our neighbour as a gift for their flourishing garden. She loved it! Well made and pretty. Was worried about some other reviews regarding the size of the holes but ours were all consistent and well-sized for bees.

This is a beautiful Bee House and very well made. As you can see from my picture it is very well used. The bees love it!!! 🐝🐝🐝

Needed a bit of glue on one of the inserts but otherwise is great. Was quickly colonised by several leaf cutter bees (at least 20) so must be ok. My tip is to have it facing south or nearly south for best effect

Saw mixed reviews fir this because of holes being to small. I was lucky in that all the holes are perfect size for leaf cutter bees. Two residence on first day up. Now have six holes with tenants in. Very nice little house.

Most bamboo holes way to large and not really deep enough. Where as most of my bee boxes have bees building no interest in this one so far .

After reading the reviews I wasn’t sure but decided to give it a go. As you can see all of the ‘rooms’ are a decent size and one already had a resident! I painted the roof grey to match the fence but haven’t made any other changes. It looks good and so far one bee approves enough to move in.

Still waiting for bees to move in but the product is sturdy and a perfect size for my small garden.

Love this bees are using it already so I'm happy, well made, the bee picture on the front was not very good only half a picture, but satisfied with it's usability
