Macbeth (new edition) (LONGMAN SCHOOL SHAKESPEARE)

This was bought for a grandson who is studying Macbeth as a GCSE text. He's reading it by himself and finds, as I planned, that the explanatory notes are clear and helpful so that he is able to understand enjoy the play in a way that I was never able to do when I first read the play as a teenager.Longman is still an excellent publisher of Shakespeare for young people, as it was when I was teaching in the 80s and 90s, and the delivery of the book to his address was very quick. This was a very satisfactory purchase.

Good product just as expected

Read this book during lockdown with my son as he will be doing GCSE next year. It was not too difficult as I thought because it has difficult words explained. It also has a summary of the what’s happening on that page for easy understanding. Good book

I bought the book to help my teenager (GCSE) with revision. She found it easy to followand a much needed 'handy hint' to help with homework , summerising acts of Maberth.It helped me to recall information learnt some thirty years ago too! I would recommend to allwho have GCSE.

The layout of this is attractive with text on the right and helpful annotations on the left. Also useful character tablesa and act by act plot summary. Far the best edition I have come across for GCSE students.

I bought the book for my son within GCSE in views.I can't say that he read it, but when time comes he will have the right material as there is everything needed to achieve your full potential in it.

Bought this in September for my son. 9 months later the glue has failed and pages falling out weekly. Very disappointed 😞
