I ordered these ostomy barrier rings to provide extra protection when attaching ostomy bags. I have found this brand of ostomy rings and bags to work well overall compared to other brands as long as the area around the stoma is clean and dry. I alternate between using barrier rings and sticking the bags directly to the skin and the use is more about personal preference than anything else in my opinion. In general, I recommend these rings if you prefer to use rings because they are made of high quality material and stick well when properly applied. I also recommend that you heat the skin around the stoma and also heat the barrier ring and bag with a hair dryer before attaching because this helps the items stick better and makes sure the skin is dry.

Very disappointed in my purchase and not worth even one star. The inside part of the rings tear as soon as I work to stretch the ring to fit over the stoma. Once torn, the rings are useless. I hope that others had better luck, but I can't recommend these. UPDATE: After posting the review, the seller reached out to me. They were very courteous and provided me a refund. I changed my raiting based solely on the ease of working with this seller.

Best ones I have used on my husband ostomy bag so far

I bought these ostomy rings instead of the expensive ones that were given to us from the home health nurse. I was hoping they would work as good. Just tried one and my husband (who has the stoma), said it feels more comfortable than the more expensive ones and seems to have a better adhesion. He's had it on for a couple of days and all good. We usually only change the wafer (around the stoma) once a week, so I will report back after a few more are used to report if they are still working good.

These 4mm rings work great, zero issues over more than a year now.

I decided to try these barrier Rings because they are very expensive and these ones were very good next time I'm going to try their extended tabs also because this was a good product and as I said the price is good
