I got the kit for a gift for my wife this is what she had to say: For a long time I have wanted to attempt making tarts but was always wary, as I felt it was too difficult. The kit made the process easy to understand and gave me the confidence to make them. For starters, the kit came with all the essentials that are needed for making tarts. While am an avid baker, I’ve never bought a candy thermometer and haven’t realized how much easier it makes baking, until I used it to make the meringues. The baking balls, are great, strong, and perfect for the tarts. They do seem very dusted (I don’t know if that’s something that can be changed) and required cleaning a number of times, so as to avoid the dust getting all over the tart dough. The kit came with the tart instructions. By far one of my favorite! The instruction were clear, direct, and easy to work with. I love that the “ruler” and measurements were on the instruction page!! This makes it easy to access and it meant I didn’t have to dig around to figure out the size of baking paper or how long to make the strips of dough. Additionally, it meant one less item that needed to be out on the counter while I was working and one less item to have to think about. If I could make a small suggestions, it would be to use a different paper for the instructions, as I’ve noticed the paper getting oil stains from being pushed against the dough, and that’s going to cause some wear on the paper eventually. Lastly, the recipes were amazing. I have made the chocolate coffee tart (pictures attached), as well as the lemon tart; they were Clear, concise, and delicious!!

Maybe I was expecting more. The pieces in the box are very well made, and there's everything (less the baking ingredients) you need. I do wish it had more recipes and kid friendly flavors/options. You can find each of the individual items for less money, but this would be an ok gift for an experienced baker. I really like the idea, but I got this for a 10yr old, who is limited in experience and this is for someone older or more experienced. (So it's my fault) the product is good, just a little over priced.

Bought this for my wife for Mother’s Day to help encourage her to make time for her hobbies. She tried the chocolate tarts and meringues today and loved it! Great instructions, helped her learn new things and forced her to try things she hadn’t wanted to attempt before. Tasted great, everyone at dinner loved them!

This was an intended gift for our daughter on Christmas, but upon arrival we agreed to buy her something else and non-chalauntly show her what mom got for Christmas. Congratulations, amazon, our daughter's birthday is coming in March:] Lol

The recipe is great, the tools are sleek and work well. Delicious!
