I saw the reviews and photos for these cooking tongs/tweezers. Yet I was still surprised by how large they were when I pulled them out of the box. It turns out the large size is really handy for preventing burns when trying to reach tiny items in hot oil, deep pots, or deep/confined ovens. They wash well and store easily. I haven't had any problems with rust, and I mostly let these air dry in a dish rack. They're also great for pulling little leaves, herbs, or fruits out of cocktails. I would rate the quality as excellent. These tongs/tweezers are very sturdy and durable. I ended up reserving one for cleaning and maintenance around the house. (Thats honestly why I bought them in the first place. My daughter really wanted to try them for cooking, so I picked one and designated the other two for food purposes. I was surprised at how often we use them in the kitchen.) The one I use for cleaning and maintenance has held up great despite the occasional abuse I put it through. I often drop it on hard surface or have it banging around with other items I'm carrying around. I've used it to clean out drains, clean up excess glue/paint/wax in the tight corners of woodworking projects, retrieve small items that have fallen in tight spaces (especially under and between the seats in my car), etc. I haven't seen any signs of this not being legit stainless steel.

I purchased these to replace my old ones and love them. Easy to clean and easy to store without getting caught in the drawer.
