Fantastic product
Bought this for a woodworking project I was doing, wanted a "pro" finish on the wood. This stuff is fantastic, brings out the grain of the wood better and gives it a nice semi satin velvet finish.Halfway between matt and satin I'd say?Do a little bit of the wood at a time using a little amount of the wax. Spread on thinly and spread evenly.Let it dry for 10 mins or so (tin says 20 but 10 is fine) and buff off.Fantastic.Couple of things to watch out for...Don't put it on too thick, you don't need to and this stuff dries in, so if its too thick you will have a hard buildup of wax which looks a bit bad. Less is more.Like painting, if you need to build up a thicker finish use several thim coats rather than a thicker one.Wont be as good.Patience brings the best finish. This stuff is the best.

wood polish
Lid was quite hard to remove at first. The polish is a hard wax and needs quite alot of rubbing in. the tin says to apply and the leave to dry before polishing in.I found this very hard work. So instead I applied and polsihed at the same time, then left and for the 20 mins sated on the tin. I then went over it again with another clean dry cloth, this seems to work just as well. you can repeat thisprocess if you want a deeper shine or if the wood has not been given a wax for along time.

The best
Used this wax ever since it was recommended to me years ago. Brilliant stuff. I use it on bare wood after sanding, rub on fairly sparingly but making sure it's well covered, leave 30 minutes to dry then buff. Gives a great natural finish. If you want a bit more shine then just bung on another coat and Buff up .Not sure about all the hard work and elbow grease mentioned by others, but I guess using wire wool will give a more smooth silky finish, although a piece of Oak I did recently just had a basic sanding and then Bison and buff and its near glass. I've used several others but none match Black Bison FWP for results, ease and a very good price too.

amazing
What a great purchase this was. My Lime Oak kitchen units fitted 12 years ago were looking worn and tired. Before replacing the doors I decided to look for something that might freshen or restore them Found this on amazon and along with the Limimg Wax completely restored all the doors. Didn't need to remove the doors. The transformation was stunning. My wife was amazed. Can't recommend this enough. If you have tired looking Lime Oak units this is a must!!!

Good polish for pine
Arrived very promptly and seems to work well on our pine kitchen furniture. It seems to be best after several very light applications. Easy to apply and polish up.
