Reasonably Priced Four Pack
This salt mixes into water easily to form a pleasant tasting brine solution for pickling. There were some chunks but they easily broke up and the salt poured freely from the container. Morton's motto is "when it rains it pours" meaning that even if the salt gets a little damp or humid it still pours out of the package. No need to add rice to absorb moisture. It also does not contain any Iodine. Iodine will halt the fermentation process. After a week in the pickling jar the two heads of cabbage are yellowing nicely and gas is forming and discharging though the vent. It is definitely working. Three weeks to go and this batch of sauerkraut will taste as good as anything from the store. It will also be much more economical.

Retrieve Paxkage Timely
We are pleased to have received this product for canning within a week and cost effective. Couldn't get in stores within an hour radius. Words of wisdom. Amazon packaged it (4 boxes) loose in a a box almost twice its size. There was no stuffing or cushion so one box broke loose from the set and salt was all over. Grateful it wasn't awful just messy. Had the package arrived or sat outside in the rain for even a short time it would've been ruined. There was no plastic outside of the boxes themselves to protect from that. Just a heads up for those who order! Happy canning!

Quality product for canning season
Just what i needed for canning season. No one else had any available. Now I have plenty.

Easily dissolves for use with 30% vinegar, water and soap to kill weeds, etc.
