This is nicely made. In this day, it's easily made on modern equipment and made cheaply.

I use this for making tree ornaments on my lathe. I mount it in a drill chuck which then mounts on the live end of my lathe. The one I have is very close to turning true .. less than a 1/16 inch wobble which is acceptable since once you have rounded a piece you don't notice that small amount. I reversed the "teeth" which is explained in some other reviews so that I could grip rounded stock. My only real complaint is that the notches that grip the stock are very shallow so you have to be careful about making sure you have a solid, tight grip on your work and you have to be extremely gentle if you are trying to finish the end of a piece without the tailstock engaged.

The chuck is fine. It will do a decent job of holding stuff while I trim, chamfer, polish, etc. I'd rate it at four stars or better. My beef is with this: "Package Include】: Type A: 1pc x Connecting Rod. Type B: 1pc x Connecting Rod, 1pc x Three Jaw Chuck, 2pcs x Short Sticks. Type C: 1pc x Connecting Rod, 1pc x Four Jaw Chuck 1pc x Wrench." The way that I read that is that I should have gotten a three-jaw chuck and a four-jaw chuck. Of course, I only recieved a three-jaw chuck.
