The media could not be loaded. EXCELLENT TRIP WIRE!!! I ordered this to use while camping to warn us of animal intruders; especially bears. This trip wire device is made entirely of metal. That was a good decision since to setup this device you will need a 12 gauge blank. Luckily, I had some 12 gauge blanks laying around so I set this trip wire up in my backyard to do a test run. Once the blank was inserted and secured I walked through the trip wire to activate it and it instantly set off the blank shell. The noise seemed to be louder than when shot with a shotgun. This trip wire device works excellently well and I would definitely recommend it.

These are not even some what reliable. I have got them to work on average of 1 out of 20 attempts. I'm sure that frequency will get even worse as the spring wears. Buying from Amazon is terrible anymore. All they sell is Chinese junk now. We all know they don't care if a product works or not.

So, I had to drill the hole of the adapter to make the primer fit. The primer I used was a CX2000 Type 209

set up in the spot the raccoons are coming from ...they bump into the line and then try to crawl over the line and it sets the dummy round off with a loud bang...no raccoon got hurt but they never came back... my cats are happy now and can go outside. 4 stars works like a charm... the 209 primer dummy shell is loud. i tested one without earplugs and got the 2 day ringing ears.
