Great product and excellent customer service so far. Have a complete system with multiple seniors and cameras on 1 app and it’s great.Best thing is no longer needing electricians and techs to service and trouble shoot issues onsite.If you can change a light bulb or replace batteries in a remote then this is the system for you. If not please don’t bother.

great doorbell and camera is really clear

As it says in the spec, it needs a 8-24VAC 10-30VA doorbell transformer to power it. Unless you are an electrician, you don’t know what it is, and you don’t know how to verify it. I have a little electronics background, so I know my original doorbell transformer won’t support it, and I am able to use an external transformer to boost the power and install it properly.

SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro - it's a wired doorbell camera with Two-Way audio, motion detection and night vision.It was easy to install and I like that no battery is required.While configuring with the SimplinSafe app I could just connect the USB A to Micro USB included cable and turn it on.It was easy to configure following the steps.I like that unlike other manufacturers, this doorbell is not big and looks good on any door.While creating the user account, it asks you to save a secure code that can be used later to reset the account in case the password is forgotten.The two way audio works but in order to hear the doorbell you need to buy one of their Simply Safe visual and audio speakers.I definitely recommend.

Fundamentally, this should be a functioning doorbell. CCTV and smart provisions are added bonus to compliment my simplisafe system.I have the base station and the additional indoor siren that integrate with this doorbell. The issue is that I now miss so many knocks at the door because the chime from the siren and base station is not fit for purpose.I came from ring because of1 the simplisafe eco system and this is just a disaster. I don't have my mobile glued to me 24/7 so I would expect the chimes to be louder, much much longer for starters and eventually add some additional chimes.The image on the camera is not sharp and has strange fuzzy edges - ring pro picture much superior.This is not fit for purpose and a major downgrade from my ring

i'll just get out of the way why this is a 2 star from me. it "works" as in everything functions. but it function to the quality of a doorbell camera that is worth a quarter of the price. nothing about this screams quality from the build, the app, the picture quality or the very quiet buzz that comes from the speaker that comes with it.i have a doorbell camera that cost literally half as much and is superior in every way.i cannot recommend this at this price. if it was literally half or better yet a quarter, then perhaps i would but not at this price.

i do not have any of the other products and although it does work sort of the sound from the unit alone is too quiet so as a stand alone doorbell i cannot recommend it, if you're already in the simplisafe ecosystem or are planning to be then yeah i'm sure its a great addition.for £149.00 (at time of review) if all you are after is a reliable doorbell video or otherwise then this is probably not the best option. if you have other security items from them then yeah its a great addition
