Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, some Costco's, and a bunch of other places do gas cylinder purchases or exchanges. A note though, most stores will only do exchanges with Sodastream CO2 canisters, not these or even blank ones. But they are $30 each and when you get the Sodastream ones the exchange is $15. Well worth it.

Does the carbonation give you a headache like the bubbles in cheap champagne?

Nope! I think the issue with cheap champagne causing headaches is something other than the carbonation anyways.

I don’t live near any of the refill locations. are the empty co2 bottles recycable? how do i dispose of them?
