Bought for making DVDs and did not disappoint. Also good for transferring data with dvd drive computer as you can reuse a number of times. Good basic product and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I use these dvds to download children’s video clips for my daughter, ( using a legal programme). They work really well and I have had no problems with playing them. When she is fed up with them they can be used as drinks mats!

I only ever use Verbatim DVD+RW and will get them from whoever sells them cheapest. They are reliable and last longer than others I've tried. Even with a little rough handling they're good for re-using over and over. We mostly watch TV programmes that are recorded on a hard drive and transferred to these discs for viewing on a different TV and technical disappointments are very rare - and then only if I haven't taken enough care of the disc like keeping it in a wallet like this 100 CD SLEEVES

I have used this brand for some years and until now have found they are reliable and trouble free. But the last batch I bought 3 months ago and have just started to try to use. My VCR doesn't see them, tries to format them as soon as I insert them, and refuses to give them back until I switch it off again. Reluctant to buy any more as they are expensive coasters....

So eine Plastikscheibe ist ein langweiliges Produkt und man könnte meinen, so günstig wie Flash Speicher inzwischen geworden ist, sollte die DVD kurz vor dem Aussterben sein - 4,7 GB ist heutzutage ja nun wirklich nicht mehr viel Speicher. In meinem Büro gibt es aber trotzdem noch vielfache Anwendungsmöglichkeiten dafür, zumal sie eben NOCH günstiger und besser lagerbar als USB Sticks sind. Im Hinblick auf eine gesunde Redundanz bei Backups (nicht alle Eier in denselben Korb tun!) sehe ich einen weiteren Vorteil bei der DVD. Vierfache Schreibgeschwindigkeit reicht mir vollkommen aus... ...viel wichtiger ist mir die Sicherheit, auch nach mehr als 100-fachen Beschreiben noch alle Daten korrekt auslesen zu können. Ich habe mal auf einer DVD mit einem Folienstift Strichliste geführt - die Scheibe ist zwar jetzt ganz schön voll geschmiert, läuft aber immer noch tadellos. Mit Verbatim-DVD RWs habe ich einfach in den vergangenen zehn Jahren die besten Erfahrungen gemacht, da mache ich mittlerweile auch keine Experimente mehr mit günstigeren Anbietern. Dafür gibt es von mir fünf Sterne, eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
