Wasted some money on a more aesthetically pleasing bamboo magnetic knife holder. But it was almost entirely useless for my global knives and pretty dangerous too. This holder is not as nice to look at (but isnt that bad since i do have black and steel electric goods in kitchen), but most importantly it holds the knives exactly like you would expect without slippage or tilting.

The strip itself looks as described and does the job. I was unsure about how well I could attach it to tiles with glue when I ordered, so I thought I'd write about that for others wondering the same. This comes with two plugs and screws, and you remove the silver ends to attach the screws, then slip the ends back on the strip. It would very easy to attach to the wall this way. I don't want to drill tiles so I used two part epoxy resin and pasted that on the back parts of this strip, then held it to the wall for four minutes. So far it's gripping strongly and I have plenty of knives on. The central part of the back of the strip does actually appear to be a little further from the wall than the very edges, which are thin. I coated the very edges with a thin layer of epoxy and then put a thick layer on the middle bits, in the hope they would make contact with the wall too. I pressed hard for the four minutes that I held it to the wall and then left it overnight before putting knives on. It seems strong, so enough of the back of it has made contact with the wall for it to stick.So if you're buying this and want to use glue go ahead. I actually ordered No More Nails glue to use, but Amazon sent me an air horn instead! Not entirely sure I know how to glue things with an air horn, so I sent it back for a refund and bought two part epoxy from my local pound shop for a quid.

This magnetic knife holder, is not just lovely to look at, it really takes a great hold of the knives. The quality is superb, strong & sturdy looking. I bought it because my husband cut his hand getting a knife out of the drawer in the caravan and we don't have enough room for a knife block. This is perfect. The magnet is very strong and keep the knives and scissors tidy and out of harm's way.

Awesome. Now all my sharp knives are completely out of reach from my 3 year old little boy. He's just got to the stage where he is opening drawers and grabbing anything he can reach. Love this! wanted a strong magnetic holder for my Chinese cleavers! This is absolutely brilliant - very strong magnet and good quality. Holds three cleavers and two/three smaller knives. Delivery was excellent, item well wrapped and I would not hesitate to recommend this item. Definitely one to buy.

Got this on sale but I f I was you buy it. This has been a god send. We have had numerous knife blocks over the ears and they have either fell apart or the knifes wouldn't fit if, but this just wow.. wall mounted so knIves are out of the ay and also out of the way of children.
