This is a decent item. Unfortunately it does not work as I had hoped, primarily due to the fact that my Blu-ray player does not have an output sound port that will accommodate it! In this instance I have decided to accept my mistake and keep the product, hoping that sometime in the future I may have a use for it!

This fast and although it works with two out of my three devices I will not hold that against it. I do realize that some dongle Dac devices are more finicky than others when utilizing 4.4 mm adapters. On my main two listening devices this cable works just fine. Five stars

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but it’s my understanding that a balanced output has independent negative outputs for each channel (left and right). This cable has joined the left negative pole with the negative pole of the right channel, completely defeating the main purpose of having a device with balanced outputs. In some cases (depending on how your device was electronically designed, this cable can even potentially ruin your sound device for the same reason that the two negative grounds are soldered together. Buy at your own risk.
