has trouble holding the lock cylinder in place. any amount of roughness will surely rattle it loose in time. the lock cylinders are not the best, get what i paid for and deserve. too bad there are no decent upgrades on the market for these old chevys...

Looks great! Don't know how well it will hold up through the winter. The locking cylinder is the concern. Freeze and thaw can be hard.

Easy to install

The injected moulded abs around the threaded steel inserts is way too thin maybe 1-2mm. It spun in the plastic tightning it with a 1/4 dr. ratchet. I didn't notice when ordering that the body was plastic or I would not have ordered them. Uprgrade the description says LOL. More like made to fail and easier for thieves to snap and make it easier to break into these trucks. Do yourself a favor and order ones with a cast metal body like the originals. Even the rubber type gasket around it was made too small. The lock cylinders are janky feeling also like they will fall to pieces everytime you turn the key. It blows my mind how some of this junk has such high ratings on here.

Do not let anyone/video fool you. These are not quick and easy to replace unless you do this daily. The first one will take quite a while to install and you will end up doing it wrong. Well it took me several tries. Once I figured it out the other door was much easier. Small fingers are helpful.
