Sent unit that was returned by another buyer

I’ve had this head unit for a few months now. There are several issues that a potential customer should be aware of. Does not have Android OS installed. The operating system that is installed doesn’t run smoothly and a forced reboot is required at times. It doesn’t like playing music from usb and sd card. You can load images on thumb drive to use as wallpaper and boot logo if you access the factory settings using code. The equalizer has 9 basic frequency adjustments and if the direction of the speaker levels are changed by even one notch it drastically changes so that function is pointless. The backup camera doesn’t have night vision as described however the dash cam is great surprisingly. The wires for cameras weren’t long enough so I had to extend it with more cabling and solder the connections back which I am familiar with but isn’t easy for everyone

I purchased the Dashcam + Backup Combo, and so far it is working as it says. I did also pick up a Wiring Harness Adapter and i recommend everyone else do that so they don't mess with their factory writing harness unless they are experienced. It made the whole process mostly plug and play.I cant seem to get Android play to work but once I plug in my USB Cord it mirrors no problem to my Android Device.The Dash Cam is a bit confusing, but only because you'd think the MicroSD Card goes into the head unit and it does not. It goes into the side of the camera itself.

Está bueno para el precio pero la cámara tracera casi no se be y la delantera hay que estar borrando todo todos los días para que pueda seguir grabando porque no borra sola 👎

Rating this as a 3 star. It's a great budget friendly head unit if you're wanting to use Android auto or apple car playFM/AM radio work great and has good sound qualityAndroid auto works amazingly and is surprisingly responsive. When listening to music through AA with a compatible cable it sounds great. Display looks good and doesn't look grainy/blurry. I can't speak for the apple car play side of things as I have an Android phone but if AA works good then so should ACBluetooth: Bluetooth sound quality is bad. Extremely distorted and lots of static. My unit may have a bad Bluetooth receiver but since wired AA works so much better then I probably won't use Bluetooth at all because of this.Cameras, I haven't installed them yet so can't really speak on this feature. I'll update my review when I test them.

Update (09/23/2023): They followed up with me shortly after my first review (below). After I cleared with them that this is definitely not cabling issue they sent me a new unit for no charge and in no time. Quick, correct and honest customer support!The new unit was and easy swap and now it's working again, so giving back five stars as the unit still well worth the price, hope this one is gonna last longer than the first (see below).Old review (09/01/2023): It was working fine for about 2 months when it's actually stopped producing any sound. It's still working cuz it switches on and can connect to Bluetooth whatnot but no sound is actually coming out of the unit. This is not the car as I have to switch back to the old radio which is working fine also the fuse is okay so looks like the output sound is just broken inside the unit for some reason.Otherwise good product for the price it's actually doing all the thing that is advertised with just fine, however now I cannot use it obviously.If there is any negative on the UX side of things is that there is no volume buttons on the touch screen only physical ones on the side but those are pretty small so hard to find them when you actually drive.

Lo que mas me gusto es su pantalla de mediana calidad. Se ve bien, brillo decente y respuesta tactil buena.El sistema operativo tambien responde bien, la compatibilidad con android auto es buena aunque una vez dentro la navegacion es un poco lenta pero lo que se espera de un dispositivo de menos de 100 dolares.Lo demas es pesimo:-la camara trasera parpadea a la hora de visualizarse en la pantalla, y no es problema de instalacion. Esto puede ser peligroso si solo se fija en la pantalla al dar marcha atras.- super baja calidad de las camaras tanto de la trasera como la delantera, la delantera debe tener una tasa de refresco como de dos fotogramas por segundo, no es confiable para grabar ningun insidente.- baja potencia de radio, los canales sintonizados se escuchan fatal y con interferencia y ruido.- baja potencia de audio. Cambié mis 4 bocinas del carro por nuevas y con el reproductor original del carro se escuchaban mejor.- el microfono para llamadas es una basura, no se escucha bien, seria un milagro si tu asistente de IA entendiera lo que le dijeras.- Si estas hablando con alguien o tienes musica puesta en tu vehiculo y pones la marcha atrás de una corta la musica o la conversacion para poner lo que visualiza la camara, lo mismo para si quieres poner la camara delantera.En fin, super decepcionado con esta compra, si esta mirando esta opción, realmente le sugiero que busque otra.
