Works if you set your TV up right
At first I thought it wasn't working with some of my TV channels and apps. It turned out that I had to make some adjustments to my TV settings to use PCM. I also needed to take the plastic covers off the end of my optical cable which greatly improved sound quality and removed the lag I had been seeing.I would prefer if the inputs and outputs were on the same side, but the doesn't affect performance.

Incredible ground hum, I thought it was the non pictured cheap un earthed power supply so bought a new one but made no difference going in the trash.
