I bough this box for an intimate dinner party and it could not have been any more perfect. Everyone was delighted and the items were delicious. The products come in really nice glass jars -as opposed to cheap plastic- and that gave it a really upscale and fancy feel. It also comes with a set of adorable wooden tiny knifes. We arranged the items on a wooden cheese board, paired the tapenade with rustic crackers and the marmalades with a cheese spread, and we used the olive oil (which was really good) to drizzle over French bread with the salt. It looked AMAZING. Needless to say, there was absolutely nothing left and everyone wanted to know where we had bought it. Interestingly, the salt was also a big hit, it had sort of a smoky, umami flavor so we ended up using it also at the dinner table. This is the PERFECT and I mean PERFECT item to take to or host a dinner party and we also bought one for our home, just for fun!

Do not want the hassle of returning this but I am very disappointed as this is a gift for a friend's birthday. This is the second item I've had an issue with in the last month

Product was missing two items! The white balsamic vinegar and mussel pate and the substitution was a non food item. An acacado spoon that doesn’t fit the gift at all. Would like a more appropriate substitute. Can understand the mussel pate but white balsamic??!!

This was a gift for my grandson who loves to cook. These are items he has not used so he will enjoy the new delicious one of a kind flavors.

What a pleasant surprise. As an avid culinary buff, the items included in this package are nothing short of superb. I being fortunate to have traveled the world. This gift set takes me back to Spain!!!! the quality of the products,the keepsake tin can with the biscuits. Tried the olive tapanade on the biscuits with the neighbors and they wondered what import store I got these products from. Made a salad with the olive oil and balsamic using hearts of palm and kale!! crisp olive oil and a subtle taste of the balsamic, it is as close as you can get to culinary heaven. even if you are not such a food "geek" as I am, you will certainly enjoy quality at its finest!!!

The white balsamic vinegar makes a wonderfully quick and tasty salad dressing. Using either the olive oil in the kit or another high quality oil. The paprika flaked salt is the bomb for finishing a seafood dish. Haven't tried any of the jams yet, but have no doubt they will be as flavorful as the rest of the contents. This would be an ideal gift for a foodie friend. I would definitely buy this again.
