We also have cats, and they are not powerful enough to push down the middle that lets the food out. We have two small dogs that are 6-8 lbs, and they both have to use both front paws and jump on it to put it down. However, they love it and spend lots of time playing with it. Q: Can the product be disassembled for washing?

I use disinfectant wipes and q tips. The only way to take it apart is to disassemble by unscrewing 2 screws on the bottom.

Yes, we have a 10lb dog that is 4 years old, and she has no problem with it. However, instead of pushing it she scratches at it and seems to get food out of it.

Q: I have a senior chihuahua mutt and she has wobbly back legs. Do they have to push on the top really hard? How much pressure is needed?

I have a 60lb Aussie that loves this puzzle and has no issues getting the kibble out. I believe a chihuahua “could” get it if she could learn to use both front paws. However if she is just too wobbly on her back legs to push with both front legs it “could” be an issue.

Absolutely brilliant

Our Cavapoo loves this. Took her about 15 mins to fully get it but now can do it and lives eating her kibble out of it. She now has the kibble she would have for breakfast out of this every morning because she likes the challenge of it.This is a 10/10 product. Well made and good sticky feet on it so it doesn’t get pushed all around the kitchen. When it eventually does wear out I will instantly buy another.
