I have a Nespresso Pixie and this set is a great addition. The scoop and tamper make it very easy to fill the cups and the tray holds the cups securely while placing the foil lids. These pods are durable and stand up to daily use. This is a much, much, cheaper option than using pre-filled pods and gives me the option to use whatever espresso I want. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and will never go back to pre-filled pods.

These work flawlessly! I used Lavazza Perfetto Medium Roast, already ground in the bag, for my first attempt using my L'OR Barista machine. The coffee was delicious. I cannot wait to experiment with my coffee grinder to use whole bean and other coffee types. The 10 pod set with the tray holder allows you to easily fill the pods and seal them with the foil tops. The holder keeps the pods stable when tamping and setting the foil seals. The pod worked perfectly in the machine! It makes good espresso. However, since these are "expresso" sized pods, I have to use two pods to fill a coffee mug 3/4 high using the large brew button for regular coffee. My only wish is that this same setup would be available in the larger L'OR style pod combining 10 pods with the tray. Currently, only a single large pod can be bought at a higher price than I paid for this product set! I will just "suffer" using two small pods for coffee until these become available as a set in the large pod size.

These reusable pods work great!! My husband was really happy with them and made a nice foam as well. We used to order pods for our nespresso from caffe Vergnano but price went to $140 for 200 capsules. These are fabulous and makes a good cup of espresso. Not sure why a reusable top cannot be made to work as the sticker does BUT I’m not complaining. I noticed bad reviews for others that had a reusable top so that’s why I gave this a try and so happy I did. Will be ordering a second set of 6!

I am not blaming the product, more the process. But I'm finding it hard to make the espresso pods. 1. I keep making the coffee grind too fine, and it's a slow pour from the Nespresso. Or worse, it blocks the flow of the Nespresso. I have a bur grinder so i can adjust the coarseness, i just am having a real hard time finding the right spot 2. I love my coffee brands for pour over coffee, but for some reason, it's more bitter in this espresso maker. Is that expected? I don't know, but another reason why I'm having a hard time with this process 3. It is a bit labor intensive. Fun the first few times, but then it's just a chore. And i use 2 pods power coffee, so making 6 pods goes very quickly But in all fairness to this product, i love that it comes with a holder for the pods. It seems like there is some air tightness so that the coffee doesn't go stale when the pods are pressed into the holder. The sticker tops are easy to apply and place in the correct position. The scooper tool works well by making the pod itself the scoop. But i haven't figured out how not to spill any coffee grinds when making these.

I rarely write reviews but I felt very inclined to do so for this product. I’ve now made ~10 shots over the course of 3 weeks of having these. I have a D’Longhi Mini Essenza Nespresso machine, and it fits these capsules like a glove, a very tight glove. That’s a good thing, because a loose fitting capsule will cause water leakage into your espresso cup and dilute your drink (and experience). I weigh 5 grams of finely ground dark roast (seriously, I just buy pre ground espresso that Trader Joe’s sells, rainforest packaging) in the capsule and use the included “tamper” to compress the grounds. It’s a little bit messy of a process but I’ll take cleaning up since the end result is phenomenal. I use filtered water ONLY in my Nespresso machine and overall, it works like a charm. Lovely aroma (better than store bought pods) and perfect amount of cream too. Resist the urge to fully fill and pack the capsule, as some space is needed for the water when the foil lid is penetrated. I’ve made these the night before and even after sitting sealed by the foil for 8 hours, they still taste fresh in the morning. Each shot is very consistent and up to the caliber and quality of Nespresso brand pods. I took a chance after reading some mixed reviews, but boy am I glad I got these. I am now so excited to experiment with pre-ground espresso from different roasters, since the standard Trader Joe’s brand espresso tastes so good. This saves so much money over buying one time use pods, and the taste is phenomenal! Fantastic value!!!

My husband and I just bought a new ninja espresso and coffee barista machine, super fancy and totally trying to reign in on our coffee game and save some money so we stop going to Starbucks religiously. So we bought these fillable pods to try and use our own grinder and espresso roast and we tried it out the first day. We went through 4 different pods that we filled, followed the instructions and we kept getting an error on our machine saying “ready to brew, add water”. We checked the tank, it was full. We tried to adjust the pods and rebrew. Tried to use different pods. Every single time we had this error and couldn’t figure out why. After a few hours and many Google attempts, we get our last delivery of original nespresso shaped pods from a different company already filled (the throw away ones) and we get the prefect brew of espresso instantly. To debunk this again, we used one more refillable pot and got the error again. The foils are too thick and won’t pierce correctly. My guess is just don’t fill the pods per the instructions and do less but who wants less espresso? lol so I just returned them and am going to just buy the tossable pods. Maybe I’ll revisit them down the road when I’m more inclined - maybe it’s totally user error idk but I don’t have the patience I just want my coffee lol

Great product for making own brew blends from coffee grind. Note that capsules do fit the larger original Nespresso and Brevile Original Capsule Machine, replacing use of Aluminium foil capsules. The optimum grind size is approximately 3-4 which is Espresso Grains size. Tamping net weight coffee grains only (minus the stainless steel capsule) is 3.985 grams. This almost fills the capsule pressed, leaving a small gap at the inside of the rim. Foil sticker lids can be carefully removed after use and stainless steel capsule given a quick rinse before refill or storage. I place 6 in the fridge in the handy container, which last about a week. This neat 6 capsule unit comes with directions on how to use these 6 capsule containers. You place them in the coffee maker exactly the same as you would a 1 use capsule, but don't forget to remove and clean after they have cooled down a little.

Easy to refill, easy to use, the only problem is that I wish I had like 50 pods so I don’t have to refill it every two days.

I thought my machine was faulty, but then realised it couldn't get the water through the pod, as the lids are too thick and so don't puncture properly. I had a previous order which was fine, but this one is useless.
