Gillette Intimate Pubic Hair Razor Cartridges, 4 Razor Blade Refills, Gentle and Easy to Use, Dermatologist Tested, With 2x Lubrication

I'm not sure if it's placebo and subtle design changes but this works much better than my standard five-blade Gillette for keeping things smooth down below without ingrown hairs or razor burn. One of the problems with multiblade razors is increased likelihood of ingrown hairs. The way this happens is the first blade will grip the hair and not just cut it but also pulls it forward and outward from the skin as it passes. The next blade will catch the extended hair and cut a little more. The next blade the same and so forth. So the more blades, the more the hair is pulled out. If too much is extruded, when it retracts the trimmed hair can end up well below the surface of the skin and become ingrown. this is more likely on very soft, fleshy areas of the body which is why ingrown hairs happen more on the neck than the face. Another soft fleshy area? Yeah, exactly. That being said, in spite of this being 5 blades I haven't experienced any ingrown hairs. In the past when I used my standard Gillette 5-blade a couple of ingrown hairs were inevitable every time. I'm not sure if they changed the blade spacing or pitch but I just don't get them with this razor. I do notice a little more stubble after 2-3 days than my other razor so I don't think the hairs are getting pulled out as much. More frequent shaving is a small tradeoff for a smooth shave without ingrown hairs. Blades seem a little stiffer than my facial 5 blade Gillette. Again this may be just my perception. In spite of this I've not had any issue going around the curves this is designed to shave. Zero razor burn but good practice is still using a shaving lubricant of some kind. The black color is definitely aimed at men though my wife got her own as it works so well for the bikini area. Handle has a nice rubberized grip which makes handling in the shower easier. Lastly the nice wall mounted hanger for the shower, just make sure to alcohol the shower wall well before applying it. After thoroughly degreasing/alcohol cleaning the wall, I applied the holder months ago and it's still as solid as the day it went up. In all a really great razor. Well worth the price if you like to keep things clean and smooth down below.

I didn't expect shaving in this sensitive area to be so comfortable, but Gillette has really outdone itself. The razor is well designed, fits comfortably in the hand, and provides a very smooth shave without irritation or cuts. The head glides smoothly and the result is super clean. The set also includes a convenient stand. Everything looks very high quality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and effective trimmer for delicate areas.

After trying the Gillette Intimate Pubic Hair Razor, I can confidently say it’s been a total game-changer for me. The design is incredibly thoughtful. I was genuinely surprised by how easy it was to get a clean, irritation-free shave even in tricky areas. What really stood out to me is the handle. Great razor. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars though is because it looks like there was hair on one of the razors when I opened the box. I washed it off and I’m thinking maybe it could’ve just been debris from the box the razors were in. If anyone wants to provide some clarity, I’d appreciate that.

This review is somewhat overdue, but I had bought the Gillette Intimate Bundle that included the electric trimmer, the Pubic Hair Razor (with extra included razor), pubic shaving cream/cleanser, and the pubic anti-chafe stick. I was actually debating whether to get this or the latest Manscaped trimmer. But what drew me to the Gillette bundle is the included Razor. I don’t think Manscaped had or has a razor blade intended for the pubic region. I would rather trim and shave my groin area, rather than just trim. I must say that this Gillette bundle makes pubic grooming much more easier than what I was previously doing. I used to take a regular trimmer and then use a regular 5 blade razor (such as a Fusion Proglide) to shave my area completely. But I had to be extra careful or else I would get nicks and cuts, and also get skin tags and ingrown hairs. But with the Gillette pubic trimmer and razor: everything is smooth to the touch with each glide. And I have not got any cuts from this razor and have not ended up having any bleeding. The shaving cream of this kit also greatly complements the razor. The Gillette Intimate razor and trimmer has really improved the way I groom down there . I will continue to buy the blades for the razor and the shaving cream as long as they’re available (btw, I’m still using the first blade for the razor despite already using several times, since the White lubrications strips on the blades are still solid). This has become a mainstay for my overall grooming arsenal.

Awesome shave!! I like to shave my...uhm uhm areas in both front and back in the shower to be super smooth and soft! And these blades do the trick. I usually change the blade after about every 5 or 6 times using it and I shave about every 2 to 3 days. So 1 blade lasts me a good 2 weeks on average with a nice close shave.
