Volume 2 of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime picks up right where volume 1 left off. With Rimuru recruiting some master craftsmen dwarfs for the Goblin village. It's starts up with a dramatic court case. The other big part of this volume is Rimuru picking up some amazing new abilities, through some surpising events.The volume is filled with a new mix of comedy and heart wrenching moments. If you enjoyed the first volume you are in for a treat. There are also some classic RPG references sprinkled throughout the volume. The artwork continues to be pleasing, and with a heavy amount of classic fantasy races easily stands out from the crowd. A personal favorite of mine being the goblins that Rimuru takes care of. I know in the last volume the artist said he has a difficult time drawing non humans but he really does a great job with them. A fun final note is appears a villain has appeared, it'll be interesting to see how that will affect the series as it goes forward. Will this new foe be a match for Rimuru or will Rimuru's slimey might be to much to handle. We just have to wait and see.

Another great outing with our favorite slime. Rinmaru is cute and cuddly, but also insanely Op. Sad that they didn't give him the option of being fully human with a relationship. Might have feared a harem result, but he ends up with that anyway, kind of.

The main character is op, as such, any suspense of him being defeated is non existent. However, the story is fairly fast paced, and we'll plotted. It is these attributes that makes the story enjoyable. They the usual manga troupes that will draw laughs. Then there is some scenes that are of the butter sweet variety. It may not be the Earth shattering manga that will influence generations to come, but it will entertain, and leave you wanting to know where the author will take you during the next adventure.

Love this manga and will be buying more Volumes.. Came in handy on a stormy night when the power went out.. I just opened it up and didn't put down until I was done.. After that took them to work and my coworkers come to my office and get their daily manga fix now.

The story itself is very good, but I've found a couple of issues with the condition of the paper itself. Some pages have little tears and others are bent. I've tried my best to remedy some of the bends, as you can see in the pictures, but I do expect the product to be in pristine condition which is a bummer. Nonetheless, I have no issues with story, it's a good read and I recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoy the story and the art style. Each book introduces new core and important characters that drive the story. While Rimuru is the main focus, he’s not the only dynamic character

Going to just copy paste the same thing across all the slime graphic novels.. etcGreat and fun story and you have to love Rimuru. Overtime his character has even topped my love of Tanya and other Isekai style stuff. Great character dev over the whole series and challenge overcome and move on to the next.

Picked up right where vol 1 left off and I finished the whole thing in one sitting. It’s a good read for fantasy and isekai lovers and is now one of my new favorites

Absolutely LOVEEEEEEEEE IT, the art style is really cute and the pacing is definetly an upgrade to the LN
