This is the second time we have purchased these, they are sturdy and very easy to put on the posts, and really good value. We are getting more as we are having work done in the garden. A great buy

These 10 x Linic plastic finials were ordered to replace the wood Temple finials that have began to split and twist. The Temple finials have only been in the garden for a couple of years now and even with wood stain preservative they were looking tired and old, which to be honest was a waste of money as they was not cheap to buy. I ordered two sets of these 10 x Linic finials and 10 x Linic acorns as well. The brown colour of these plastic finials wasn’t my particular choice, so I decided to paint them with Hammerite hammered Silver paint to match other accessories in the garden. I am well satisfied with the hammered finish as it has made them look metal and added a little extra character to the handrails. The only small criticism I would have with these particular plastic finials, Is it would have been nice if they would have supplied a plastic cap To hide the screw, But hopefully they will read certain reviews and perhaps take this into consideration on future manufactured products. They do sit nice and level and flush on the handrail, Which is what I wanted and they were extremely easy to fix. I am still very satisfied with these plastic finials and hopefully with a touch of the hammered Hammerite paint on the screw you won’t notice it, and as they work out about 99p each which is excellent value for money. They was prompt with their delivery service with Amazon Prime. Overall I am one satisfied customer.

As these are plastic they should last longer than wooden caps. Easy to attach to fence post with 1 screw (not supplied). As treat my fence with a dark oak colour they blend in well and just finish off the fencing with a nicer look.

Simple brown post caps. They seem strong with a centre screw hole. Recommended

Bought these with a view to putting on top of rotting posts. As some cowboy put up the fence, some of the tops stop mid cross bar and some are above it.I put one on the top - and it was too wide. Had I ordered the wrong tops? No, got the tape measure out and it is 3.5" across, not 3". Now this might not have mattered had all of my posts been clear of the cross bar and they could sit square but they are not so look off centre.Also when I flipped them over, there is a cross mould which prevents them sitting within a 3" post anyway. You must use the screw, good if your posts are brand new and without cracks and rot, but no good if you want to glue them and you have an additional hole letting in water. You could drill the hole yourself if you needed one.This is a real shame as they are a nice mould and look good when centred, but the fact that they are wrongly headlined at fitting 3" has made them useless for my needs.
