We fancied a change this summer to traditional outdoor BBQ'ing and had always hankered after a pizza oven. This arrived well packaged at a good price and I set to work building it. Firstly the instructions aren't brilliant (hence 4 stars) but it went together well. It took me less than an hour on my own to have it completely made up and I had pizza's cooking inside of 2 hours of opening the box.to be fair a couple of the fittings are a bit fiddly but a bit of patience will resolve easily. I bought some kindling and some compressed wood bricks and had it lit very easily. After it got up to temperature I put the first pizza in, onto the pizza stone it came with. It definitely takes a bit of experimenting to get the perfect one, but all of the ones we've done so far have been perfectly edible. We are still experimenting with the right thickness base and how to cook the top completely when its piled high - but ultimately been very pleased with it. I'm not convinced the pizza stone on its own is perfect - this can catch the base of the pizza really quickly so I'm going to experiment with a rack which lifts it off the stone - also you definitely need a pizza paddle to retrieve them when cooked - especially on thin base ones. Its definitely becoming a family favourite though - we aren't disappointed with it.

Not bad to assemble but had some screws left and not everything lined up so couldn't install all fittings. First use all paint peeled off on every surface it smelled quite bad. Took a while to cook but expect teething problems on first attempt. However pizza was fine when cooked and will use it again.

Do not waste your money on this did first burn in mine went up in flames...and looks like it's 10 yrs old as all rusty and paint flaked off even though under supposed 1proper cover had never been outside till first burn.but it's leathali got arms burn as needed to move as went up!!!.why have you just come on Amazon and told me to lie to potential customers!!

Does exactly what it should and is really controllable.

Easy enough to build but side handle wouldn’t fit into screw holes

No complaints. this is a great design and already have bought one for grandson with all the attachments.

This was a nightmare to put together - it took us 5 hours. There were not enough screws included, some of the threads did not take properly and about half of the holes were not properly aligned and took ages to line up properly. My husband is experienced at putting things together - we are not beginners.It looks like sloppy manufacture and quality control. It certainly doesn't make us feel confident about using it but it looks ok and we will be trying things over the weekend so all may be well!
