Burn Down Way Too Quickly
We decided to try a different brand of white Shabbat candles. As I'm typing, I'm still not sure why the box on my desk says "Ohr Zion" when the product description above now says "Israel Candle". Regardless, the box also says "Burns Approx. 3 Hours". However, the candles consistently burn down in less than 90 minutes. They are not placed close to any air drafts and we trim the wick to about a half centimeter. We've lit Shabbat candles for a very long so there is no chance of user issues here. When we've tested them by not trimming the wicks then the burn time goes to about 30 minutes with a puddle of wax all over. Maybe it's the batch or maybe it's normal for this candle manufacturer. Either way, 2 stars was being generous.

Trim the wicks!!!
I didn't take the instruction to trim the wicks seriously, and so the candles burned down to the bottom in 10 minutes, leaving excessive wax in the drip catchers! I proceeded to trim the wicks of all 70 remaining candles in the box.

Questionable product
As you can see from the attached photo, one of the four boxes was completely torn apart. Fortunately, none of the candles were broken. As you can also see, the carton in which the four boxes were shipped was huge! Taped together, the four boxes made a 9"x9"x9" cube, the carton measure 22" wide x 18" high x 12" deep.Although on its Amazon page this product is said to be made in Europe, nowhere on that page, nor anywhere on the box, is there any indication of the products country of manufacture. I find this very odd, and suspect that it may due to the actual country of origin not being wholly acceptable to some consumers. As to the product itself, candles, what is there to say —they fit my candlesticks, and they burn.

Garbage at any price is STILL garbage!
I wish I could give less than one star because these don't deserve even one.I have been lighting candles daily since the mid 1970s. I tried this brand because they were supposedly made in Israel and the price was very good for two boxes. Unfortunately, the money I spent was wasted because the candles drip so much wax (or whatever they are made of) that they do not last long and leave a pool of greasy feeling mess to clean up. Although I purchased these last October, I did not run out of the ones I usually use until recently. That is when I discovered that these are the worst candles I have ever purchased in my whole life. Do not waste your money on these. Sorry I have to give these a bad review. I wanted to love using candles made in Israel. Oh well.

Good candles
Basic decent candles - they burn well, normal paraffin smell, ie, no knock-your-socks-off odor to the wax. Nowhere on the box though, is listed *any* country of origin, even though they advertise 'made in the USA', no origin being on the box as such makes the advert claimed origin suspect. Maybe why they were inexpensive. The boxes were broken open when delivered, (very flimsy cardboard) and none of the candles were damaged or missing so I saw no real reason to fuss since I had no intention of returning them, and ... hey, I did not buy them for the boxes.

Pretty good
I’ve used about 8 so far. Clean burning, they did not smoke. They do drip a little bit at the very end of burning the candle all the way down. They all burnt out between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes. No real complaints from me. Cheap price for bulk candles, I’m not expecting them to be high end Yankee Candle company candles like some of the reviewers here seem to be...

Long lasting as long as you trim close to the candle
I got these for a Christmas decoration. 6 candles that move the propel a fan that spins the nativity figures. I figured after the first time lighting these that they burn down REALLY fast if you don’t trim the wicks to just above the wax. If you don’t trim them they burn down in less than a half hour. If you do they can last a few hours. Like 3 to 4 hours. I still have over half the box left after the Christmas season. The day after Thanksgiving to January 2. So these are a great value.
