I bought this product to seal drafts on a front steel door without a kerf in the jamb. I like the fact that the rubber seal is fit into a groove on the metal channel strip that makes it very sturdy. Seems to be a much better designed and higher quality product than what's available at the local big "Home" or "Lows" stores. Take your time when fitting this into place and you can eliminate most if not all your drafts in the door. Be careful not to press it too hard against the door when fitting or it can make your deadbolt lock difficult to slide into the cylinder. I installed mine with the deadbolt in the locked position and drove the screws in the middle of the slots leaving room for more adjustment if needed. I did make some minor final adjustments to get a really good final seal. Im very happy with this weather-stripping kit.

Well made, and seals out all the drafts that my 50 year old wooden garage door had. My door was 32 x 72, this product was easy to cut and custom fit. Instruction are clear and all the screws necessary to install are supplied. This is a really nice product.

This was way more expensive than the LONGER pieces at home Depot. I didn't feel like cutting anything up to fit, and I liked this gray color so I spent a little extra to get exactly what I needed. Within three days the rubber part separated from the metal and is now hanging there. I'll have to get around to gluing it, but for this price, REALLY?!?!
