OtterBox Defender Series Case for iPad (A16) & iPad 10th Gen - BAHA Beach (Blue), Rugged, Durable, Multi-Layer Protection

Super protective and very sturdy, but also weighs more. This item is used on a full-sized iPad which gets carried around a lot and perched on different surfaces. I love that it covers the screen so we don't need a separate screen protector, but still is very sensitive to touch. The corners of the case are prominent and I certainly don't worry about dropping the tablet. There is no way that the tablet can fall out of the case. However, it does make the tablet more bulky and heavier, a trade off for better protection.

I’ve had these on both iPads and iPhones for 8+ years. Just upgraded to a 2025 iPad 11. The descriptions are kinda misleading …perhaps to steer you into a pricier version. The 10 and 11 iPads seem to have identical exterior dimensions. Very good protection

Very sturdy case. Big fan of Otterbox for my Iphones. The stand is a bit flimsy and I could see it being easier to break. But, fingers crossed my 8 year old doesn't break it. The outer shell/stand can fit on the back or the front for screen protection. It's a tight fit and harder to get off

I have had many Otterbox Defender series cases, and they have all been consistently high quality. This one is no exception. The description says 10th generation only, but it DOES FIT my iPad A16 (11th gen). The only thing I do not particularly care for with this case is the screen cover/stand. It is rather flimsy and seems more cheaply made than the one for my old iPad. I also do not know what the second cutout in the screen protector to the left of the camera is for, it is kind of annoying because it doesn’t seem to serve a purpose. Other than these things, the case itself looks great, fits my iPad A16 perfectly, and is of high quality. I would recommend this case for superior iPad protection!

This is the third Otterbox I’ve purchased for my iPads. Never had a problem and I feel they are well worth the money. Excellent protection.

Love the otter box defender cases

I’ve been a fan of Otterbox for at least 20 years. I always bought the cases before I bought my IPad and phones. I did the same thing this time. I was disappointed when the rubber did not fit 100 percent around the touch sensor. Bought another one thinking the one I first purchased was just defective. The second case the rubber fit 100 percent around the touch sensor. Putting it together was easy. My biggest disappointment: the material feels cheaply made and the stand feels like it will break at any moment. I think I am spoiled by the quality of the older Defenders. This one has a “Five and Below” kind of feel. Not sure if I will buy anymore Defenders in the future. 🤨

Otter box products have always been great. I purchased a used one. Come in very good condition. A small mark on bad side of the cover. Only disappointed was not in the product and how it worked but the front cover you can snap on the front when not in use was missing in the used product I had purchased. It didn’t state in the description that it was missing. Tried contacting Amazon about it but no luck right away and my daughter didn’t care. Said she was going to use it. So decided not to waste my time trying to get the piece.
