Fits perfect on my Q2.

I like this cap as a replacement for the original Q2 cap. This one is pretty close looking, with a couple of slight differences. It is an all-metal cap with a red felt liner. It is slightly lighter in weight than the original, and fits the camera lens a bit tighter. It is also slightly larger and has a shiny black semi-gloss paint on the outside versus a matte black paint on the original. It also has a ridge on the side of the cap, while the original has no ridge. I have added some side-by-side images to show the differences. All in all, this seems like a good quality replacement that comes very close to the original. I will continue to use this cap and keep my original in a safe place. Not sure why I want to keep the original cap in such great shape, but I'm just gonna go with it.

lowered one star because it's over priced for what it is. But the felt is good and it fits snugly over the Q2M lens hood.

My friends always laughed when the heard the metallic clink on my original Leica Q2 lens cap hitting the ground, "sounds like a Leica", they would say. It was annoying how it would fall off everywhere. This metal cap fits very snug and has not fallen off yet. This is a great replacement.

This one stays on, the OEM Leica one loves to fall off at the most inopportune of times.

Got it to go with my Q2. I abuse lens caps and didn't want to use the Leica cap. The good news is this seems identical and fits great.

I have a Q2, and I was looking for a cap that wouldn't fall off all the time, a known problem with the Q2 lens cap. This one looks as good as the original, stays on the lens, doesn't cost a small fortune.
