I had gotten this in hopes of using as an under cabinet light. Being that it's wired for a plug makes it kind of a pain as I don't have any hidden outlets to run this from. The light itself is definitely bright, and adjustable in color tone and brightness levels. I'd say this would make a great small workbench light, or maybe a craft table. It's a little overkill for under a cabinet, but definitely gets the job done. I posted a picture with the other lights off and have it stuck to the side of the fridge. I believe it was on #3 brightness levels to show how much it puts out there on a low setting.

We live in an apartment and are always looking for easy to remove lights for this spaces that require a bit more, and this did the job. Don't like that the controls are on the plug however, which makes it a bit cumbersome to use.

If you have a standard 120 V AC outlet and a USB power charger, you are all set to use this versatile and convenient LED light bar. It has 10 different lighting levels and three lighting "temperatures" from harsh blue to comforting yellow. All of this is selectable with a inline switch on the USB cable that connect the light to the power supply plugged into the wall. This is both good and bad. The wire is fairly long, which is good if you're far from an outlet, but bad if you want to minimize all that extra wire from just hanging there. You need to use the wire supplied if you want control over the lighting intensity and temperature.It;s easy to install, which is a big plus and the lighting it provides is intense enough for most any application. IT has no battery power, so you need an outlet at all times. This somewhat limits where you can use this light, so keep that in mind. It also has no motion control or light detection for more automatic operations that is available in some other lights on the market. That said, I like this light and would recommend it.

I initially attempted to install the light directly over my kitchen sink in order to function as a nite light. The initial package includes the light bar, two magnetic strips, instructions and USB cord. The challenges began with locating a USB plug to use with this device hence one is not included. It’s important to note that this light bar is attached using a combination strip that incorporates both glue and magnetic however this is not immediately apparent and I assume that both sides of the strips had adhesive. Once installed however the light bar worked flawlessly and then suddenly just stopped. The controls for the bar is attached on the USB cord itself and I tried repeatedly to turn the bar on again. I even went so far as unplugging and plugging the USB cord back all to no avail. I did note that the plug I was using with the cord was extremely hot. I subsequently charged the light using a power outlet that has USB ports and the light appears to function normally. Overall, the jury is still out on this purchase. I am keeping the light on overnight in addition to using a different plug with the USB cord and not the power strip. In addition, the light bar has fallen at least once; so I attached another glue strip to the initial strip provided. I truly wanted to love this light bar but the repeated pitfalls left me feeling a little in the dark.

Interesting light! It is plug in, but low voltage - so it needs a 5V wart. It is USB, but has the controller inline in the cord.I like the dimming, it has 10 "gears" or steps between low and high and does some continuous tricks if you long press the +/- buttons. The button to change color temp is also on the remote, as well as power.So here's the interesting/awkward thing. If I put this under the cabinet, where do I put the remote? I can't stick it under the cabinet too because all of the buttons are tiny, and it would be difficult to feel my way around it or bend under to see. And, i wouldn't stick this remote anywhere else, because it's wired. So... not sure I'm going to use this one under cabinet. Not kitchen cabinet at least as pictured!I think wired light is great but I'm not a fan of wired remote.This is a nice low profile light though and I'm determined to find a good location for it!
