My dermatologist prescribed Tretinoin but the 0.1% was too harsh and unintended consequences included peeling eyebrows. As someone who LOVES oils (cleansing/layering), I’d been searching for a bare bones retinol oil formulation for some time. This was such a pleasant surprise & I felt compelled to share my positive experience. The smell is a nice, light citrus. I love how my skin glowed the next morning. No reactions for me and it’s much easier to spread and control around the face and neck. I previously owned the Luna Riley and Dermalogica retinol oils and this formulation is less expensive and way better!

This is the best of the best in the natural skincare world. It’s reasonably priced, lasts a long time and it works!!!! During cancer treatments I decided to go all natural with mostly everything including all beauty products. And so I’ve tried many different ones. After battling cancer and undergoing a total hysterectomy at age 36 I have aged. This serum definitely helps. I refuse to get Botox, nothing against it just not for me. After using this serum I feel my skin is definitely more plumped, forehead wrinkles aren’t as apparent and my skin glows. It’s truly a wonderful product. I’m on my second bottle and I will continue you re buy again and again. It’s a must have!!

Sleepover Retin-Oil Nighttime TreatmentI really love this retinol oil. It is very gentle and hydrating which works well with my super dry and sensitive skin. It has a very strong herbal scent that reminds me a bit of patchouli which is not my favorite. I have been using retinols and vitamin c for years so this did not cause any issues for me. I am using about 4 drops at night and I think it has helped with rough spots and texture. Be sure to use sunscreen when using a product like this.This comes in a white glass bottle with a built-in dropper and is made in the USA. You get 30ml/1 ounce and there is no expiration date but it should be used within 12 months of opening. I wanted to lead with the instructions of shaking the bottle well before using so the product is mixed properly before applying. Be sure to unscrew the cap and squeeze out any product left in the applicator so it is mixed as well.Once you do that, I put a few drops of the serum in the palm of my hand and applied by finger tip to each area of my face (cheeks, forehead, nose chin, & neck/chest before massaging in. I do this so I get an even application of product and don't end up using more than I need because I've already covered my face and used it all before getting to my neck. My skin is sensitive and dry from prescription acne medicine and a lot of skincare products cause extreme redness and stinging. The serum felt immediately soothing and hydrating as soon as I applied it. I had ZERO stinging! It doesn't leave my skin oily at all. I could easily apply make-up a few minutes later because it doesn't leave oil setting on top of my skin. I have read some reviews that state it left their skin oily; however, I think it is simply a matter of one's natural skin type. Considering this serum is designed to be used at night, it isn't really an issue if some oil is left behind. I personally, would use this product any time - including daytime, that my skin is feeling uncomfortably dry.

I absolutely adore this nighttime oil! I have sensitive and dry skin - so finding a strong enough product to moisturize that doesn’t irritate my skin’s sensitivities can be a bit of a challenge. This oil works beautifully for both.I found the smell to be light. I notice it a little when applying. It kind of reminds me of bergamot in that it is faintly both citrusy and herbal. But it is not strong and hardly noticeable after a minute. The oil itself feels great being massaged into my dry skin. Since it is an oil, this might be too much for oily skin, but with dry it adds a layer of moisture that instantly feels effective. I am very pleased with the results. My skin is definitely evening out and my foundation and other makeup applies much smoother. It is helping to minimize pores and create a nice, smooth glow.I did not experience any redness or irritation, but if you do you can slowly build up to daily use. The instructions are easy to follow. The bottle includes an eye dropper which I find easy enough to use. I am just so very pleased with how much more moisturized my dry skin is since adding this into my nightly skincare routine.
