Tastes like pasta, good for weight loss
To me it preserves 85% of the taste and consistency of pasta so long as you are using a marinara sauce. For lighter sauces I’m not sure if the slight difference would be more noticeable. I also like that there’s only 2 ingredients and it includes bean which is extra healthy. I felt and stayed fuller because of the higher protein, and felt like it was more nourishing for my body.

Perfect Pasta! A must try! Only two ingredients!
I first saw this pasta at a local Sprouts store and then ordered a case to have on hand for the holidays. I have made multiple dishes with it- see my pictures! It cooks perfectly al-dente, and I made an amazing Mac & Cheese with the curly Macaroni! Being a big Lupini bean fan, I knew I would love the pasta. I also love that it is only two ingredients and no added sugar or sodium!! It is a must try! Nice with fresh basil and tomatoes as well! Also have made it with EVO and parm! Simple is great too! Just loved it!

Really good flavor and a satisfying shape.
This protein pasta is a success with our family because several of us need a high protein diet for our health and this one tastes good. We especially like the radiatore because they provide a lot of complex surface for delicious sauces to cling to and are hefty enough to have a pleasing bite. But some dishes require q lighter shape and the pasta still tastes good. We think it fills you up very well and would caution you to cook a bit less than usual with normal pasta if you don't want leftovers - which we don't because we feel pasta needs to be freshly cooked. This pasta has now become our goto brand.

Delicious!!!
It's a smaller box than a regular grocery store size... it costs more... and I'm not sure it's "adding" protein... but it tatse great!

Protein filled alternative to standard pasta
Growing up in Italian household provided opportunities to sample numerous different brands and styles of pasta. In that same vein, lupini beans were also standard fare growing up. While it may seem to be an odd combination, the lupini beans and semolina wheat work great together for this pasta. The first thing you will notice is the size of the boxes. Typical store bought pasta comes in one pound, or 16 ounce, boxes or packages. Do not let this mislead you as this particular pasta is very hearty and the eight ounce box will fill you up. The pasta dry and cooked has a thicker feel which will satisfy your hunger without over eating. The cook time is also less than that of typical pasta so you can even make it when you have little time. In addition to EVOO, we have had the pasta with marinara, vodka and cream sauces. The biggest fan in the family is our 10 year old.

NOT 100% Lupini Bean Noodles
Lupini beans are not the sole ingredient or even the FIRST ingredient in this pasta. It compares this pasta to konja, red lentil, black bean, hearts of palm noodle wheat pasta alternatives and says it tastes more authentic than all the others. Of course it does, wheat is the first ingredient. I do not eat noodles made with gluten. I always buy konjac or red lentil. Those pasta alternatives are made 100% from those products. I ate a whole bowl without realizing. I only figured it out when I went to send my gluten intolerant friend a picture of the package to recommend them and I read the ingredient label. So they are pretty good tasting, but it's because the first ingredient is wheat! Good thing I don't have a severe allergy to gluten and just avoid it due to the extra carbs. Admittedly in the product description on Amazon it says they contain semolina wheat, but only briefly and in a deceptive way. It says, semonlina wheat pasta is better than ever with lupini beans, making it seem as though it's better because it's made solely with lupini beans. These are absolutely not worth the money. Buy regular pasta and eat lupini beans on the side if you want the nutritional benefit of lupini beans. This is a scam.

Not recommended for carb sensitivity, Still high carb
If you have a carb sensitivity, this product is not for you. It's good but we would rather have real pasta if we're going to eat carbs. My fiance still threw up due to the amount of carbs in this product. The calorie count is not bad for a low calorie meal. There are cheaper alternatives for low carb products that are actually low carb.

BEST PROTEIN PASTA
I cannot say enough about this pasta, I have tried bonza and almost every other protein pasta most of which are chick pea based. I LOVE that this cooks like normal pasta. It also tastes and stays like normal pasta! For example the bonza gets mushy easily, but this pasta stores WONDERFULLY. Will be getting this for now on!
