I was looking for a small grater for garlic cloves but didn’t have anything like this in mind. When I saw it I thought I’d give it a try, an experiment. I’m so happy I did. Much easier to use and to clean than a garlic press. Now I’m cooking with garlic more often, a good thing.Very solidly made. Works perfectly. Small, easy to store.If you’re looking for a garlic grater you can’t go wrong.

It’s so perfect to grate ginger or garlic. Quality steel and sharp. But I wish it’s a little bigger with a flat surface.

This thing is fantastic. Used correctly it will reduce your garlic clove to an easaly mixed paste, and at the same time increase the power of the flavor to unspeakable levels.I always found garlic to be a strong but not overpowering flavor in cooking. the first time I used this to grate it down I licked off my fingers and almost dropped the greater from my other hand as the taste was Shockingly strong, even spicy.I now use it whenever I use garlic. Perfect for any cooked garlic, may also go well in salads to give them a hidden punch. or in a beverage if you take garlic medicinally.Cleanup requires you to Immediately rinse the greater in water, I suggest hot. As it's construction prevents using a cloth or sponge to clean it you do not want to allow anything to dry or stick to the grating surface. Still clean up takes only a few seconds under a strong flow of water.Though I've had it for only a short time, I anticipate this being a long lasting product due to the good steel and single piece construction.TL;DR: eat garlic? Get one.

I've already grated ginger on this, and it works wonderfully. It's a pleasure to use and almost disturbingly beautiful as an object.
