Good footstool so far. The instructions for the screws are backwards reverse the location and insert the screws and they fit. Also if you remove the covers before you assemble you get a tighter fit and the covers may not fit as tight when you put them back on but the covers are easier to take off to clean since they are not stuck under the footstool legs.

I love the look of this stool. However,the screws for the legs had to be reversed with the ones for the seat, otherwise they were too short. I never did get one of the seat ones to thread into the hole. I’m not sure if the alignment was off. I spent a long time loosening & retightening them in hopes that would help. I did remove the seat cover as one reviewer suggested, but it didn’t help.I wish the stool was just a little taller to keep my feet level with my seat. I’m not sure if I will keep it or return it. I will try it for a few days before I decide.

The only reason that I am giving it a 4 is because it is really light weight. My cat loves to jump on it but it tips easily. Still good for the price.

I bought this stool because my cat stole my other Houchics stool, that clearly failed, now he has taken this one. I got this one also because it is a few inches taller than the other. I like them both but this one has a little softer cushion and elevates my feet more comfortably.

Sturdy, nice height, easy assembly.
